I think we’re talking about different things. There’s consumer behavior and production decider behavior. The production deciders currently think AI is a great cost savings for art creation, but there’s obvious limits to how much you can get away with.

I did not think about this when considering AI concept art given to human 3D artists. They’re going to produce whatever nonsense is in the concept. What a bad business.

Most of what you see in this game is probably being worked on by someone in East Asia who has no comprehension of the words that appear on the concept they're provided with.

I worked on a few stellar video games that leveraged Racket. Quite an obscure reference for an interview though.

I mean… look… I did NOT wake up today thinking to myself “I bet Pitbull’s gonna release a KISS collab in the year of our Lord 2026.”

This post perfectly encapsulates what it’s like being an Indian person in America. First they say you don’t belong because you can’t assimilate. So you buy the jersey, go to the game, and root harder than anyone, and then they say you gotta go because you’re replacing them.
I heard UT graduation this year looked like this. I didn’t believe it. The problem is now obviously far worse than anyone imagined.

Would like everyone to extend some grace here; Sony didn't make this decision lightly. The PlayStation was getting dangerously close to having a game, and drastic counter-measures had to be taken in response.
An update from PlayStation Studios: After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to step away from collaborating with KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS on its project PHYSINT. We continue to have great admiration for Hideo Kojima's vision for the game. Our relationship remains strong after three decades of industry-leading, genre-defining creative cooperation, and we look forward to continued close collaboration with Hideo Kojima and his award-winning independent studio in the future.

PlayStation's statement presents the PHYSINT split as a mutual "step away" after careful consideration with future collaboration expected. Kojima stated PlayStation unexpectedly notified cancellation in mid-June 2026, forcing a 3-month search for a new partner (Xbox). kotaku.com/xbox-swoops-in… variety.com/2026/gaming/ne…

Its attitudes and its also funding because investors are told you don’t need artists anymore and I’m sitting here like “but AI art well and truly sucks ya’ll.” We need artists now more than ever. Programming is what got easier because who cares how the code looks.

They cancelled The Last of Us Factions 2. So we're building it our version. We're indie & entirely self funded. 4v4. Limited ammo. Brutal executions. This is Terminal War. Unofficial gameplay teaser.

Can you at least tell your agent to avoid the word “not”? It would make your tweets so much more bearable.
