Great to be invited by @HomelessLink to attend this discussion with @PaulaBarkerMP, @dsnorthnorth, @emily4MK & sector leaders. There is much for @UKLabour to do to get homelessness & rough sleeping under control and it was positive to hear that the will is there.
We convened a roundtable today with Co-Chair of the homelessness APPG @PaulaBarkerMP & Vice-Chairs @dsnorthnorth & @emily4MK
Conversation touched on the funding cliff edge, the importance of the Government's cross departmental strategy and the vital role of the 3rd sector.

Everyone needs a safe place to live, but homelessness is rising sharply. The next Government must act to change this.

In case you missed it: this Stress Awareness Month, we're really grateful to Kabir* for sharing his story of hope and determination after the deep stress and anxiety of losing his mother and his home.

Our resident Kelvin* generously shared his story with @HomelessLink and @guardian about his Section 21 eviction from a rogue landlord.
He is now receiving support and accommodation with us after being made homeless very abruptly last year.

Great to be with homelessness sector and local authority leaders today to hear Sadiq Khan pledge to end rough sleeping for good by 2030 if re-elected.
Allowing homelessness is a political choice. Let’s hope we see a commitment from all parties on this.
