A S Sahney, Chairman, IndianOil, visited Guwahati to review the ground-level LPG supply situation, interacting with distributors, customers, and field teams to assess service delivery, stock preparedness, and safety practices.
He met all OMCs LPG Distributors of Assam & Meghalaya and emphasized strict adherence to transparent operations, 100% DAC compliance, and accelerated e-KYC to ensure LPG reaches genuine consumers without diversion. Reiterating zero tolerance towards malpractices, distributors were directed to maintain adequate stocks, ensure seamless home delivery, and uphold a customer-friendly environment.
IndianOil continues to maintain robust LPG supplies, with no shortage reported. Customers are requested to remain assured and avoid panic as teams work round the clock to ensure uninterrupted service.

IndianOil joined hands with the Food & Civil Supplies Department, Government of Nagaland, for a press briefing in Dimapur today to amplify awareness about the nationwide rollout of 25 lakh free LPG connections under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY).
With participation from senior officials and key media representatives across Nagaland, the discussion highlighted efforts to accelerate LPG adoption in the state — where 1.22 lakh families already benefit from Pradhan Mantri Ujwala Yojana out of 3.86 lakh active LPG connections.

As the Indian Oil & Gas family celebrates the 65th Indian Oil foundation day, I wish to highlight an often ignored facet of our energy journey and the silent contributions of our energy soldiers in ensuring that India always keeps ticking, never short of petrol, diesel, never short of gas cylinders, come cyclones, storms, landslides or floods.
In the last one year, floods in Assam, unprecedented rains and subsequent landslides in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Kerala, different parts of our country have unfortunately been hit by natural calamities.
While the brave personnel of @NDRFHQ, #SDRF supported by other local and central forces worked round the clock to ensure relief and rescue, not many people notice the work in the background that our Oil Companies do on a war footing like #GoodCorporateCitizens to ensure all possible support.
ATF supplies were rushed to the forward helipads from places as far as Dehradun, Saraswa and Mohali as stranded locals and tourists had to be rescued and evacuated from hilly areas of Uttarakhand by air due to landslides on the roads.
A 24*7 war room was set up @PetroleumMin staffed by senior officials and our Oil Marketing Companies lead by @IndianOilcl to ensure that affected people reached their destinations as quickly as possible. Operations to rescue the stranded was done in a #MissionMode, to ensure that whole of government approach enunciated by PM @narendramodi Ji, came alive at a time of concern for all of us.
