-To his private jet
-To fly out and give a paid speech
-On the evils of capitalism and fossil fuels

I have spoken out against anti-Muslim hate in the Michigan Senate race. I will speak out just as loudly when the target is Jewish people.
Let me state a little-known fact: ISRAEL GETS LESS THAN 0.1 PERCENT OF THE FEDERAL BUDGET. That’s less than one tenth of a percent!
But there is an ad running that tells voters they can’t afford groceries because the United States gives so much money to Israel. In reality, the United States spends money in and on countries all around the world – but this ad singles out the Jewish state. The ad is as dangerous as it is dishonest.
You can disagree with how the United States spends money abroad. But telling hungry families that the Jewish state is the reason they are suffering is wrong and shameful.
Blaming Jews for people’s problems is an old story. Anybody who has read the last century of history knows where it leads. It is a dark pathway.
This ad is anti-Jewish hate and should come down immediately. Abdul El-Sayed should denounce it today.

🚨 NOW: Elon Musk calls for PRISON for Robert Reich after Reich urged Democrats to "defund Musk" and SEIZE SpaceX and Starlink for the government
ELON MUSK: "Stealing companies is a serious crime. Prison for Reich." 🔥
He’s going FIGHT BACK mode.
REICH SAID THIS: "Democrats ought to be starting this — not just with oversight hearings, but also starting laying the groundwork for nationalizing Starlink and SpaceX. Nationalize it. It should be a public corporation!"
"If the Democrats take over the House and possibly the Senate, one of the things they are going to be doing is focusing on Elon Musk. I mean, he's really going to be targeted and he knows it."
Democrats aren’t even hiding their Soviet-style playbook anymore…
They want to use a midterm majority to confiscate private American companies just because Elon backed Trump and gutted their USAID fraud fund! 😠
I AM WITH @ElonMusk 100% PERCENT, and we know TRUMP is too 👏🏻

If you need one reason to go to the polls next week, this is the one. We need an AG in NY that is committed to putting violent criminals in jail.
@sarithaforny is by far the most capable and experienced crime fighter.
A 39-year-old woman was sexually assaulted at knife point in Central Park last night. At 8:30 p.m.
This comes just one week after a 32-year-old woman who was biking through the park—and stopped to pick up earbuds that had fallen—was ambushed by three men and punched in the head.
Violence against women has surged under Letitia James — up 41% in NYC — making us all less safe and less free. Women now worry about riding the train home from work, taking a jog in the park, and walking around their own neighborhoods at night.
It’s time for a change at AG.

86 ARRESTED. 766 TRUCKS PULLED OFF THE ROAD. Nearly $1 MILLION in stolen cargo recovered. All in 3 DAYS across 4 STATES.
Illinois. Indiana. Iowa. Ohio.
Operation Highway Shield just exposed what's really happening on our highways.
This wasn't a routine DOT check. They targeted driver qualifications, CDL fraud, and unsafe operations — and what they found should alarm every driver and every family on the road.
The results:
51 people detained for being in the country illegally.
21 of them were behind the wheel with non-domiciled CDLs issued by California and New York.
36 drivers failed basic English proficiency requirements.
766 drivers and vehicles placed out-of-service.
86 operators arrested — for offenses including road rage and domestic violence.
Nearly $1M in stolen freight recovered.
In THREE DAYS.
Now think about this:
When a driver gets arrested mid-run hauling 80,000 lbs, what happens to that truck? That load? Who's paying to recover it? Who's liable if something goes wrong?
Because here's the question nobody wants to answer:
Somebody hired them.
Somebody handed them the keys.
Somebody was supposed to verify they were qualified, legal, and safe to operate that rig.
Pulling dangerous drivers off the road matters. But does accountability end at the steering wheel?
After 86 arrests and 766 out-of-service orders — should trucking companies face real consequences for putting unqualified drivers on the highway, or is it all on the driver?

Capitalism didn't create your need to work to survive. Nature did.
An employer doesn't impose that necessity upon you. He offers you an opportunity to satisfy it through voluntary exchange.
Socialism doesn't eliminate the necessity of work. It merely transfers authority over production to politicians or the collective.
Under capitalism, you're free to change employers, negotiate wages, work for yourself, or establish a cooperative. None guarantees success, but the freedom exists.
And here's where your moral superiority becomes particularly ridiculous.
You condemn people for offering employment on terms others are free to reject, yet consider yourself morally entitled to dictate how they must use their property, run their businesses, and compensate others.
You call voluntary agreements exploitation while presenting coercion as compassion.
Your objection isn't that people are being forced to serve others. It's that they aren't being forced to serve others on your terms.
And somehow, you've convinced yourself that makes you the moral one.
After reading the replies to my original post, I've learned that some libertarians have a much bigger problem than their understanding of economics. Their complete lack of empathy is fucking astonishing.
I suggested that paying half your income in rent because the alternative is sleeping in a freezing car isn't exactly a wonderful example of economic freedom. The responses were an extraordinary collection of lectures about voluntary exchange, personal responsibility, property rights, and why homelessness is apparently just another consumer preference.
Here are the five most common arguments.
1. It's voluntary because nobody is forcing you.
Apparently, choosing between unaffordable rent and sleeping in your car is the expression of liberty. Sure, nobody is holding a gun to your head. But someone with $500 in the bank doesn't have the same bargaining power as someone with $10 million in property. A decision made under financial desperation is still a decision. That doesn't mean the person has meaningful economic freedom. If your definition of liberty includes celebrating someone's choice to freeze in their car, perhaps your philosophy needs some fucking work.
2. Just move, get roommates, buy a house, or sleep in your car.
This was my favorite. One person suggested getting a gym membership so you could sleep in your car and still shower. Others recommended second jobs, roommates, or simply buying a house. Fucking brilliant. But what happens when millions of households simultaneously move somewhere cheaper? Demand increases, and those locations become less affordable unless housing supply expands. What works for one individual doesn't necessarily work for everyone. It's called the fallacy of composition. An entire housing crisis cannot be solved by giving millions of people individual financial advice. Yet apparently, sleeping in a Toyota Corolla now constitutes a comprehensive economic policy.
3. Government regulations and central banks caused expensive housing.
This was actually a reasonable argument, at least initially. Restrictive zoning and excessive development regulations absolutely can contribute to expensive housing. But blaming government for every undesirable market outcome is just ideological laziness. Housing prices also depend on incomes, credit conditions, construction costs, land values, population growth, speculation, and investment expectations. Developers build when they expect sufficient profits, not simply because people need somewhere to live. Removing bad regulations can improve housing supply. It doesn't magically eliminate every other economic problem. An economy is an interconnected system, not a fucking supply-and-demand diagram.
4. The landlord provides a mutually beneficial service.
Several people argued that rental transactions must benefit both parties because otherwise they wouldn't happen. Yes, someone facing homelessness might prefer paying half their income in rent to sleeping outside. Congratulations. You've established that people prefer shelter to freezing. But that doesn't prove the housing market is competitive, affordable, or producing desirable outcomes. People routinely accept terrible arrangements because their alternatives are worse. Individual rationality doesn't guarantee desirable outcomes for society. The existence of a transaction isn't proof that the economic system is working particularly well.
5. You aren't entitled to someone else's property or labor.
And naturally, someone had to start screaming about communism. Apparently, suggesting that people shouldn't have to sleep in freezing cars is now revolutionary Marxism. I support private property, competitive markets, and private enterprise. But supporting capitalism doesn't require celebrating every outcome it produces. Property rights don't automatically guarantee affordable housing, economic efficiency, or an equitable distribution of resources. You can defend private property without treating human suffering as an acceptable demonstration of economic liberty.
Now, here's what genuinely disturbed me.
I expected arguments about economics. What I didn't expect was how enthusiastically some people recommended homelessness. Sleep in your car. Get a gym membership. Work three jobs. Move away. Stop complaining. These weren't hypothetical responses. People actually suggested these things. Imagine seeing someone struggling to afford shelter and immediately explaining why they should be grateful to their landlord. What kind of fucking worldview produces that reaction?
Markets are supposed to serve human beings. Human beings aren't supposed to suffer simply to validate someone's economic philosophy. I'm a supporter of free markets, but I don't believe that requires abandoning basic human empathy. The irony is that people who constantly preach individual liberty seem perfectly comfortable dismissing the economic circumstances that restrict it.
If your response to someone facing homelessness is to congratulate them on having the freedom to sleep in their fucking car, perhaps you've spent too much time defending capitalism and not enough time interacting with actual human beings.

Elon Musk called for Robert Reich to be jailed on Sunday after Reich called to seize Musk’s property. Musk is right. Reich said Democrats should start laying the groundwork to nationalize Starlink and SpaceX and turn them into a public corporation if they take the House or Senate. Musk responded: “Stealing companies is a serious crime. Prison for Reich.”
More Democrats are openly embracing communism now, and it needs to be legally responded to seriously. Anyone promoting communism and the taking of private property from law-abiding citizens as a penalty for success should be jailed or lose their citizenship.
Reich is a former U.S. Secretary of Labor under Bill Clinton, a longtime Berkeley professor, and a frequent MSNBC commentator who has spent decades pushing higher taxes and expanded government control. He framed the nationalization call as a response to Musk supporting Trump and cutting into USAID spending. He also called for canceling federal contracts with Musk’s companies, breaking them up, and applying a wealth tax. That’s not regulation. That’s confiscation of private property because Musk backed the candidate Reich doesn’t like.
The same government that needed SpaceX to bring astronauts home is now being told to take the company. Reich has pushed this kind of economic intervention for years. This is the same playbook, just said out loud. Nationalizing private companies because of political disagreement is the core of how socialist and communist systems operate. They start with “public good” language, then move the assets under government control. Once the state owns the means of production in a sector, the owner loses the company and the public loses the competition that built it. Reich is treating Musk’s success as the problem and state ownership as the solution. Calling for the government to seize private companies over political disagreement is an attack on the right to own what you build.
Democrats used to at least pretend they supported private enterprise with rules around it. Reich is dropping the pretense. If taking Starlink and SpaceX is on the table for a midterm majority, every business owner who crosses them should expect the same treatment. That isn’t policy. It’s a direct threat to private ownership. Anyone who openly calls for seizing private companies over politics is an enemy of the country and should be legally treated as one.
