Drinking black coffee isn’t performative. We live in 2026, we know how to make black coffee taste good. We aren’t drinking stale burnt diner coffee or percolator slop anymore. You’re being a baby.
Drinking straight espresso, on the other hand, is usually performative.

New Talarico ad running statewide:
"Ken Paxton says, I don't have his experience, and he's right.
"I've never been indicted for fraud. I've never been reported to the FBI for bribery. I've never been impeached by my own party, and I've never given a sweetheart deal to a pedophile.
"I have a different kind of experience. I've worked with both parties to cap the cost of insulin and pass the largest property tax cut in Texas history. I'm James Tallarico and I approve this message because we need a different kind of experience in Washington."

Has anyone else thought Digger looked almost sad when Ganesh ate the tuna after he made up a story about a tuna raised by 80 year old Japanese guy?
Digger had been surrounding himself with only optimistic narratives, and people who wouldn’t disappoint him even if it means lying to his face (like Dr. Papadakis probably had been doing for decades). Dr. Ganesh shouting what he really thinks about why the methane was Digger’s problem—I wonder if that was first time in a long time for Digger to hear anything that was not sugarcoated. His frown soon turns into a mischievous smirk when he tells Ganesh about a fake tuna from story, then a brief moment of sorrow that soon disappears.
I wonder if Digger wanted Ganesh to stick to the truth he believes, and got disappointed when Ganesh buys his lie and takes the tuna—just like everyone else
You could see many meanings through Maggie. Personally, I see her primarily as the representation of Digger’s humanity. Or, whatever is left in him. Emma tells Digger Maggie’s dead or wants to be dead, but he just hold Maggie tighter, saying she’s just sick. Even after she’s gone, Digger keep her ashes in his pocket until his last moment.
Kyle (Kenny) is the only other character in the Fossil Fools who shows affection towards Maggie, plays with her using her feather toy. Kyle was the one who were given a small portion of Maggie’s ash at the end of the play. Digger even calls him Kenny when he does (thought this probably was a small slip in Curtis’s parts)
Kenny tells Curtis ‘you really get him’ and ‘I knew you were him’—Knowing the final play script has Kenny’s touch, I wonder if Kenny wanted to show that he is the only one in the world who really saw and understood uncle Digger as a human with a flaw, not as the most hated and despised greedy oil tycoon who ruined the world.

I initially agreed with people saying this has to be the only historically accurate part of Fossil Fools but now I think there’s no way. It’s definitely like one of those SNL riffs on a presidential address. No reality only hall of mirrors amen
Properly pretentious pastimes on which we would willingly withhold picking: pied-piping prepositions, wielding weally wanton wordplay, pairing proximate approximants, and profusely plying plosives.
"who" is a relative pronoun, not a conjunction, and it's being immediately ignored because "you" provides the subject and "they" provides the object. that's why it's wrong. also there's an ellipsis of an "of" i feel which gets confusing in a relative clause
spent all day getting trans women to flirt with my boyfriend on discord that i had to stay up to the last minute doing school work, which means i didn't have time to make food, so all i had to eat today were 4 strawberries
thought this was teno for a second cuz pfp i did a double take
Replying to @Ancapta
