I'm a professor (don't hate me). My campus novel "Nevergreen" turned out to be prophetic. I wish it hadn't. Follow me re: campus antisemitism🇺🇸🇮🇱

Dr Sheree Trotter @shereetrotter1 responds to the claim that Israel is committing genocide and that Israel’s actions in Gaza are similar to Nazi Germany. She speaks about the gaps in the way the conflict is narrated and the dangers of embracing Palestinian radicalism, euphemistically called “resistance”. youtu.be/RJ7r58RjsI4?si=Pff3…

The latest issue of the substack for the Institute for the Critical Study of Antizionism is out ...! Some big news, updates, lots of resources as we build this new field of study and attempt to rescue the academy from the forces of darkness that have corrupted it .... icsa.substack.com/p/institut… @InstituteCSA @adam_louis52328 @richard_landes @elderofziyon

Imagine being a Jewish student majoring in US culture & finding out that faculty in the field are spending their time disparaging your identity at national conferences and figuring out ways to bring that hate and bigotry back onto your campus. 😞 Shameful. ⬇️
The American Studies Association’s annual meeting includes sessions titled “Zionism Is Racism: Introducing the Critical Zionism Studies Syllabus” and “Dezionizing the U.S. University.” @HaleyCohen19 reports: ji.news/5pqag

A legal action has been filed at the ICC on behalf of the Bibas family by @ElliotMalin. We all know what happened to Shiri, Kfir and Ariel. Shiri's parents were "burned inside the house in a brutal way that you cannot imagine, you cannot explain, you cannot answer" so that "there was hardly anything left" to put in the caskets. The case is brought by Shiri's uncle. foxnews.com/world/bibas-fami…

Toronto is so ready for a change! This is so exciting! So many people are sick of Olivia Chow’s mean, ugly, terrorist ridden, drug, crime and rat infested style of leadership. She has to go. Tomorrow is election day! Vote @BradMBradford !!! If you have time, sign up to volunteer!

When the mainstream literary world turned its back on Jewish writers, we built something new. This fall, I’m hitting the road, virtually and in person, to talk about that ecosystem and Canary Publishing. Four events, three online and one in New York. Where to find me and how to register. canarypublishing.substack.co…

Jerry Seinfeld claims nobody actually cares how you are doing and admits he would never socialize if he wasn't married "If I had not gotten married, I never would have gone anywhere with anyone" "my wife has people over every night. I'm there. I dress nice... the second they walk in, give me a glass of white wine, and then I'm okay" "a comedian is a host in a way. You're hosting that night for those people, and everything that happens in that room is to your design" "I can't take the bullshit conversation. Let's talk about something. Let's get into something. 'How are you, how are you?' Who cares how anybody is?" "What about couples dinners? To me, the couples dinner is arranged when one of you relates to one half of the other couple, and everybody else just hangs on to the side of the lifeboat"

oh the humanity
Another video out of Gaza, another reminder of what an insult to the human intellect the genocide and famine libels have been.

"Once there was a political way to defeat Hamas the war became unjust" -- (Checks notes -- Hamas still in power -- refuses to disarm -- boasts that it has rebuilt its fighting force and is planning the next Oct 7....) Whatever Walzer is smoking -- or maybe this is just the onset of dementia -- I would like some.
"When Walzer took the stage, he affirmed his commitment to the safety of Israel and described his fury at the attacks of October 7th before turning to Israel’s conduct in the war. The recent raids in Gaza, he said, seemed intended to make it “uninhabitable, at least by its present inhabitants.” He added that “Israel had managed the siege in a way that meant, and seemed from far away intended to mean, that there would be no end to the suffering, no sustained relief, until a final, a total, victory, a victory that was never morally possible, probably not strategically possible, and that no one really believed in.” What’s more, “once there was a political way to defeat Hamas and to free the hostages, the war became unjust. The effort to win it, when there was no way to win without destroying Gaza and driving out all or most of its people” was, he said, a “criminal effort.” The hall, by this point, was quiet. Walzer said that he did not trust the international reckoning regarding Israel’s actions that was sure to come. He wanted Israelis to do the reckoning themselves. “Please get it right,” he said. The applause that followed was intense but sad". newyorker.com/culture/person… via @NewYorker

Antizionism destroys everything it touches, starting with the minds of the antizionists
Imagine genuinely having spent decades in international law and been president of the international criminal tribunal for Rwanda and then deciding in your later years, that you hated Israelis so much that you would publish a report under your own name saying “Israel knew people would die when they went to war; that’s genocide.” That’s @NaviPillay1 for you, a racist who destroyed her legacy forever all because of antizionism.
