NON-NEGOTIABLES if United want to be successful again: 1. Sack Wilcox and Hargreaves. Replace them with people who actually know what they're doing. 2. Get rid of Shaw, Maguire, Dalot, Mount, Ugarte and Rashford next summer. Sign 7-8 new players. 2. Let Bruno Fernandes go at the first opportunity as well. 3. Interview managers properly. Appoint someone who understands the problems at this club, has a strong knowledge of the game, knows how to manage players and demands STRICT standards both on and off the pitch. 4. Give that manager THREE YEARS and back him with a COMPLETE SQUAD OVERHAUL. 5. Recruitment must NEVER be one sided. Neither the club nor the manager should have complete control. Every signing should fit a clear, long term vision and be capable of playing under different managers. 6. STOP giving club legends access and influence at the club, whether commercially or through interviews. 7. STOP letting fans influence the club’s decisions. The majority of fans especially on social media, don’t know SHIT about football. Stick to the vision, no matter how difficult things get. I think this would be a VERY good starting point for a long term project.

Zidane rates Yoro, yet at Manchester United he either has to sit on the bench for Maguire or play out of position. Same goes for Mazraoui. He starts at LB for his country, won AFCON, played in a World Cup semi final and has performed at the highest level, yet at United he has to sit on the bench and watch a brainless Diogo Dalot start at LB every single week. Players like Yoro, Heaven and Mazraoui have one bad game and get dropped, while Maguire, Shaw and Dalot can be shit all season and still start every single game. This is how you know a manager is incompetent and inexperienced. There’s no meritocracy, no accountability, just the same players getting away with the same shit every week. Michael Carrick is simply a waste of everyone’s time.
