ICYI. “The United States wins its point whenever justice is done its citizens in the courts.” Not done! On August 3, my comments on @FoxNews with host @AndyMacNews about the meaning of that famous DOJ quote in the context of the Reflecting Pool matter and the President’s embarrassing comments on the “choking” by DC US Attorney Jeanine Pirro.

Spoke to @AndyMacNews @livenowfox — this #Hantavirus outbreak is a canary in the coal mine. We got lucky this time that this started on a cruise ship— that is why it was detected this fast. The cases clustered together in time/space. The next time, we won’t be that lucky. A future importation of #AndesVirus to a big city could be more complicated. And there are other pathogens that fit this pattern around the world (long incubation, human-human transmission, vague early symptoms). Remember that Ebola virus had only had outbreaks of 500 or less until the big one in 2014 that spread in large dense cities causing over 28500 cases and over 11k deaths

.@SpeakerMcCarthy says he spoke with @realDonaldTrump shortly after the shooting.
“He would tell me about hearing the bullet…he knows he’s very fortunate to still be on this Earth.”
McCarthy predicts a “more uniting speech” from Trump tonight than what we’ve come to expect.

UPDATE: Secret Service tells me Director Kimberly Cheatle backed out of speaking at the Aspen Security Forum because "she stayed in Milwaukee at the Republican National Convention to coordinate security and protection aspects for the new nominees."
But this also means that Cheatle wasn't going to be in Milwaukee during much of the RNC Convention and only stayed because of the Trump shooting.
Big news from California and more pressure on Biden to step aside.
There's now LESS THAN 16 weeks until the election in November
🚨 #BREAKING @AdamSchiff, front runner to be California’s next U.S. Senator & close ally of @SpeakerPelosi, calls on @JoeBiden to drop out.
Here’s his reclusive statement to @latimes:
“President Biden has been one of the most consequential presidents in our nation’s history, and his lifetime of service as a Senator, a Vice President, and now as President has made our country better. But our nation is at a crossroads. A second Trump presidency will undermine the very foundation of our democracy, and I have serious concerns about whether the President can defeat Donald Trump in November.”

Spent time Sunday with FOX LiveNOW discussing the importance of protective intelligence and threat assessments for VIP's and Presidents, in light of the sniper attack on President Trump. Lots of hard lessons learned. The attack will be studied by protectors forever, just like the attacks on JFK, MLK, RFK, and Reagan. @FoxNews @FoxNewsSunday #FoxNews
