In South America they've mastered fixed-wing flying machines. #tech

Blimey, not radar!
Brazil has aircraft carriers, advanced radar, and 4.5 generation aircraft. If Delta Force DARED to step into the jungle, they’d be torn to shreds.

When X made the announcement they'd start doing automatic translation, there was suddenly an uptick (seemingly universal) in Japanese-language content. Then it seemed to change to Spanish. Since yesterday, I'm getting an influx of Russian. Interdasting (potentially).

All I did was share a badly cropped youtube short of a wave over a bow and now I'm a goyslopslave who deserves to be guillotined and sacrificed on the altar of AI. Forgive me, Hitler.

What you have "signed up for" is a humiliation ritual, the attention economy, vacuous self-flagellation in the hope of martrydom and a reputation as the most raped man in England.
I’m just tired. This is the third time I’ve been arrested in the space of two months. Two weeks ago, the police showed up at my house, intimidating my family. The process itself is the punishment, and it wears you down. My partner was just on the phone with me, upset because she genuinely believes there’s a chance she could see me go to prison. However, this is what you sign yourself up for, and I intend to see it through to the end.

OK after looking at Skyral I'm pretty sure I could make something comparable on Cursor within a month, maybe less. Still though, more adventurous than the "education tech" loser.
Much more respect for this than the other one who set up a business telling people not to go to uni.

I'm very very sad tonight. I just learned that Stephen Biesty passed away in 2024 at 63... He is one of my favorite artist. Rest in peace.

After listening to this anecdote, I was curious about what Nicky Blair is doing now. Improbably, his career has gone: teacher > football agent > founding a defense technology startup. It's not what you know ...

Illegal immigrant who deliberately deceived the authorities to avoid deportation is finally deported. I love these warm, feel-good stories. Cosy and autumnal-pilled.
A Texas father who had lived in the U.S. for 25 years with no criminal record was finishing his night shift as an Uber driver when immigration agents detained him. Without being able to speak to his lawyer or a judge, he was put on a plane and sent first to Ghana, a country where he had no ties. He was then sent to his home country, despite a determination by a U.S. immigration court judge that he could not be deported there due to likely persecution. cbsn.ws/3Ude66r

What sort of country has the supreme court extend the voting window by two hours on election night because the buses aren't running?
