Adalberto Libera (16 July 1903 – 17 March 1963) is one of the most representative architects of the Italian Modern movement. He graduated from Parma's Institute of Art in 1925 and then in 1928 from Rome's Scuola Superiore di Architettura he became acquainted with Futurism through his fellow Trentino Fortunato Depero. He was invited by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe to the 1927 Stuttgart Exhibition (Deutscher Werkbund). In 1928 and 1931 he organised the MIAR exhibitions of "Architettura Razionale" in Rome. MIAR then dissolved. To some extent Futurism influenced the art movements Art Deco, Constructivism, Surrealism, and Dada, and to a greater degree Precisionism, Rayonism, and Vorticism.

“A hundred times have I seized a dagger to ease this oppressed heart. Naturalists tell of a noble race of horses that open a vein with their teeth, in order to breathe more freely. I am often tempted to open a vein, to procure for myself everlasting liberty.” — Young Werther

But what is love? Heidegger responds: “Probably the deepest interpretation of what love is comes from Augustine, when he says ‘amo volo ut sis’ I love, that is, I want what is loved to be what it is. Love is letting-be in a deeper sense, according to which it calls forth essence”
