Thanks for spreading the word! Letβs keep going. Remember, EAβs silence is actually a victory for us. Theyβre staying quiet because they donβt want to give us any motivationβtheyβre just waiting for us to burn out. The petitionβs momentum is slowing down; we canβt let that happen
The #SaveMassEffect movement has picked up even more steam after videos from both Commander Shepard actors β and even posts from the Destiny community β helped its petition reach 200,000 signatures. bit.ly/4z9oN98
Manifesting this and he also snags the Dragon Age IP too

Well.. @GambleMike is co-producer of the TV show. So, let's see.. TV show is a huge hit, makes a bunch of money, Mike starts up his OWN STUDIO AND BUYS THE IP. Right?!
I did a thing! The image is weirdly cropped but not much I can do about that. Let me know if you want to see more!

EA thinks we'll give up easily, but they are mistaken. We won't take no for an answer. We must save Mass Effect, we must see to it that BioWare becomes it's own sovereign studio.

We can bludgeon pretty hard!
And we represent the second guessing of galactic law!

Maybe there's a way even if they don't bring back that exact team to at least bring Mr. Gamble back on board.

One thing about #SaveMassEffect: What really sucks & cannot be undone is all the folks at BioWare who lost their jobs. Even if EA licensed the IP, that doesn't solve anything for them. π Someone with a lotta cash would have to license it AND hire the team.

BioWare built the universe we love, and nothing can replace their legacy. But with the studio gone, our focus is ensuring Mass Effect has a future. Weβre asking EA to preserve the franchise and explore every viable path to continue it, including bringing back the talent who made it special.

Bro on a smoke break sees Commander Shepard walking past with a silenced pistol and looking like s/he just swam in the Presidium lake smelling of sushi.

Some food for thought:
Leaving aside the last decade which was a problem, as soon as the Saudi thing was announced I was fairly certain that the Mass Effect game was going to be canned.
(1/?)
They were never going to let it get out without extensive changes most likely. Yes they may very well be getting rid of the problem to bring the IP back someday but I can guarantee you it won't be the kind of future we want for it which is why #SaveMassEffect is so crucial
(3/?)
We want to ensure the survival of not just the Mass Effect IP, but the hopeful future that it showed over it's almost twenty years of existence by a studio that actually cares about it! That's why #SaveMassEffect matters!

Almost to 220,000! We got this folks! Even if this doesn't change anything it still shows how big the fandom is! We want the IP licensed to someone who will do amazing things with it! Dragon Age too!
