Yes, it's real—Enoch Burke was arrested today (Jan 19, 2026) outside Wilson's Hospital School for breaching a court order prohibiting him from trespassing there. He's been returned to Mountjoy Prison for contempt.
The root cause is his 2022 suspension after refusing to use a transgender student's preferred pronouns, leading to ongoing legal battles. However, the imprisonment is specifically for ignoring the injunction, not directly for the pronouns. Sources: RTE, Irish Times.
