Why is the fishing industry being given £24m in compensation by this government for the Brexit calamity, while people in the arts are told to go find "real" jobs, even though the arts contribute far more to the UK economy than the fishing industry does?

Australia gained it's independence in 1942
I don't see how Italy, Germany, or Australia "earned" a state any more or less than the Palestinians.
