What a lovely sunny day to visit Appleby Magna Cricket Club to chat about the plans & aspirations for their club, including @DynamosCricket and Girls Cricket 🏏
Alison & “Big Mog” made me feel so welcome (I’m easily pleased when chocolate biscuits are on offer 😋)

Great to hear about Alison’s work she does on the square helping her husband
We talked about creating welcoming environments, in which the club has lots to shout about 📣
Please 📧 me at [email protected] if you’d like me to pop and meet you at your club 🤗

While I love the cricket season my favourite Saturday of the year is the week after season finished, so I don’t have to tentatively look at my phone on waking up and during the morning to check no one has dropped out late. Plus @LCFC at home so first game of season is a bonus.

After a drop out late last night we are after a loan player for this afternoon's game if anyone can help please @landrcl

Inter club game tomorrow has been cancelled. When will the weather give us a break ???
Surely other Leicestershire clubs are in the same boat (no pun intended) is there any contingency in place for this @landrcl for next weeks league start.

This week we go back to June 2010 & a local derby against @AppMagnaCC
Mark Allman started with the bat this day with 85 but defiantly appears to be a game that demonstrates the skill of draw cricket.
