Russia is eager for Ukraine to make mistakes. We won’t make any. Our work goes on. Our struggle goes on. We have no right to fall short, no right to retreat or turn on one another. If we lose our unity, we risk losing everything – ourselves, Ukraine, and our future. We must stand together. We must hold our ground. There is no other choice. There will never be another Ukraine. We defend Ukraine. Glory to Ukraine!

Thank you Mehdi for being “pleased”
Syrians are ecstatic their butcher is gone and they get a chance to maybe rebuild the 60% of the country that’s rubble.
Or maybe find their loved ones in the mass graves. Or maybe get electricity for longer than 2 hours at a time.
Anyways.

Det her er baggrundstæppet for besøget i Det Hvide Hus. Historisk øjeblik for Syrien

Month on month, #Syria's transition is building in internal capacity, strategic vision, external messaging & foreign relationships. But huge challenges remain.

Russia is not a friendly country.
Russia killed our Syrian people, destroyed Syria, and was the mastermind behind the sieges on civilians to force them into displacement, a military policy it has followed since the days of the Tsarist wars.
Russia ensured Assad’s regime survived all these years, crushing Syrians beneath it.
Russia created ISIS, bombed schools, hospitals, and civilians across Syrian lands.
This is the same Russia that killed Chechen and Caucasian Muslims, expelled entire peoples like the Circassians, Crimean Tatars, Ingush, Volga, Baltic, Bulgars, Greeks, and many others.
And today, Russia is killing and targeting civilians in Ukraine, displacing its people, and occupying its lands.
The Syrian president’s visit to Russia doesn’t mean we’ve become allies. Russia remains an enemy of the Syrian people, a state sponsor of terrorism in our eyes.
Politics may rise above morals and operate based on interests,
but our human stance should be guided only by humanity, ethics, and noble values.
Russia is not a friend.

A Historic Day for Syria !!
The U.S. Senate’s vote to repeal the Caesar Act marks a turning point in Syria’s modern history.
This decision paves the way for the end of an era of sanctions and the beginning of a new phase of reconstruction and economic revival.
After long years of hardship, Syria is confidently re-emerging onto the world stage — charting its course toward stability, opportunity, and a dignified life for its people.
