I was delighted to welcome my good friend, Nobel Peace Prize laureate @k_satyarthi, to DC. I was especially pleased that he graciously accepted my invitation to visit Armenia and participate as a speaker at a very important event.
Over the course of his decades-long work, Kailash Satyarthi has helped free more than 120,000 children from forced labor, slavery, trafficking, and other forms of exploitation.
Under his leadership, the Global March Against Child Labour reached 103 countries, becoming one of the largest international movements for the protection of children’s rights. The movement played an important role in the adoption of ILO Convention No. 182 on the Worst Forms of Child Labour, which later became the first convention in the history of the United Nations system to achieve universal ratification by all ILO member states.
We look forward to welcoming Kailash Satyarthi to Armenia.

The Republic of Armenia Prayer Breakfast was a meaningful opportunity to connect with faith leaders, public officials, and friends from around the world, united by a shared commitment to peace, human dignity, and freedom of religion or belief.
It was an honor to join Assistant Secretary of State Riley Barnes, senior White House Faith Office Advisor Paula White, senior Armenian officials, and other distinguished leaders in advancing a core bipartisan American value: Freedom of Religion or Belief for every person, everywhere.
Armenia’s historic faith tradition and its commitment to peace make this dialogue especially meaningful.

Representatives of the Armenian clergy in the United States (whom Pashinyan is causing trouble for in Yerevan) visited the White House, home to the author of the legendary "route."
The Armenian spiritual leaders, in their prayer, touched upon the efforts to establish peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and once again reminded the peacemaker that it was he who made a significant contribution to the process.

Historic meeting in the Oval Office of the White House: Armenian religious leaders and @ArmAmbUS Mkrtchyan were received by President Trump. A prayer was offered for the two countries and President Trump, in recognition of his support for the establishment of peace in Armenia.
We had a great event at the NEDs club dedicated to the Armenian Ararat Brady, its heritage and delicious taste.
