I have come to believe that, at the end of the day, what really matters is the intentions we carry and the actions we take. None of us can fix everything that is wrong with the world, but each of us can choose to be part of the solution, however small our contribution may seem.
I understand the anger and frustration many of us feel. Sometimes, they are entirely justified. But anger and toxicity alone will not change the state of affairs we find ourselves in. A little kindness, empathy, and genuine care for one another might go a much longer way than we realize.
We believe Kabul House is guided by these same good intentions, and we are truly pleased that ArtLords is the inaugural sponsor of Kabul Evenings.

سعادتی میسر شد که در یک هفته، دو برنامهٔ بزرگداشت از مولانای بلخ را در واشنگتن دی‌سی داشتیم.
کنفرانس امروز «مولانا: صدای جهانی صلح» که به زحمت خانهٔ مولانا در دانشگاه جرج واشنگتن برگزار شد، ۸۱۹ مین سالروز تولد رومی را با موسیقی، شعر و گفت‌وگوهایی ژرف گرامی میداشت.
بیش از ۸۰۰ سال پس از تولدش، رومی همچنان پرفروش‌ترین شاعر جهان، در هر زبانی، است.
شگفت آن‌که او به همان فارسی‌ای نوشته که هنوز ما در کابل، بلخ، دوشنبه و نیشابور به آن گپ می زنیم؛ در مقایسه، مثلا انگلیسیِ شکسپیر ــ و یونانیِ هومر با زبان‌های گفتاری امروز انگلیسی و یونانی تفاوتی بنیادین دارند.
سخنرانی پربار و روشنگرانهٔ فرهاد دریا دربارهٔ موسیقی دیوان‌شمس و هماهنگی موسیقایی واژه‌ها در شعر مولانا، نغز و‌دانشین بود. صدایت رسا دریا!
هم چنان، خانه‌اباد وزیر صاحب دکتر میرویس بلخی و خانهٔ مولانا، برای پاسداشت میراث ماندگار مولانا!
