Time to surf on tide🌊🌊: our traveling waves paper with @Artipago and Paul Sauseng is now online 🥳🥳
By investing the direction of alpha traveling waves we dissociated load-driven and distractor-driven inhibition during working memory.

Last week, I had the opportunity to present our work (@Artipago) on the functional role of beta oscillations in physical fatigue at SfN 2024, in the beautiful city of Chicago. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to discuss! @SfNtweets

I am very excited to share that our paper has now been published in @Nature. We describe a single-cell correlate of theta-gamma phase amplitude coupling and show how these cells are involved in the cognitive control of working memory storage processes.

Happy to share that my first paper is published in Psychophysiology!
In this work, we investigated the effect of a deceptive time manipulation on the neurophysiological mechanisms underlying physical performance. @Artipago @TheRealSPR @TimingForum

Happy to share our latest work in collaboration with Dario Gordillo and Michael Herzog (EPFL). Leveraging one of the most extensive EEG datasets in schizophrenia (N>100) we compare traveling waves -markers of predictive processes- in patients and control.

Paper on alpha oscillations and distracters suppression is out (open access) in NeuroImage sciencedirect.com/science/ar…
TLDR: distracters suppression by alpha activity is reactive and stimulus-specific. Work together with twitter-less Aarti Ramchandran and @haegenslab

I was thrilled to present my Master's research this week at @E_C_S_S, which aimed to investigate the influence of psychological factors on the neurophysiological mechanisms that underpin performance.
Thank you ECSS and all the participants for this wonderful congress!
