It confirms that Omar’s original last name is Elmi, that her father Nur Said Elmi (also known as Nur Omar) used multiple names, and that part of the family entered the United States under the name Omar.
It says the aliases hid Nur Said’s identity and alleged war crimes.
When Omar was asked whether she married her brother, she answered: “Not to my knowledge.”

These are the Three Whale Rocks (Hin Sam Wan) in northeastern Thailand, a 75 million year old sandstone formation that, from above, looks exactly like a family of whales swimming through a sea of trees.
Located on a cliff in Phu Sing Forest Park, the three giant rocks are known as the father, mother, and baby whale. Over millions of years, wind, rain, and erosion sculpted them into their astonishing whale-like shapes. From the top, visitors can see endless forest, the Mekong River, and even the mountains of Laos on a clear day.
