Know this and know peace. We all sin differently. That I preach to you or tweet Islamic stuffs does not mean I’m immune from committing sins. It is my heartfelt prayer that Allah free us from the shackle of Satan. I pray He forgives our sins & counts us among His lovely servants.

To My Beloved Fateemah’Zahra, My little girl, my answered prayer, my piece of heaven on earth… Two years ago, my life changed in a way words will never be enough to explain. Two years ago, I met a tiny human being who would become one of the deepest parts of my heart. Two years ago, I became your mother, and in that moment, a part of me that I never knew existed came alive. Happy 2nd birthday, my darling daughter. Sometimes, I look at you and wonder how someone so little can hold such a big part of me. How can your tiny hands hold so much of my heart? How can your little voice bring me comfort in ways you will probably never understand? How can loving you feel like remembering something my soul has always known? My darling, your birth story is one I will carry with me for the rest of my life. It is a story filled with emotions that are difficult to put into words. A story that changed me. A story that gave me a different understanding of love, strength, fear, hope, and gratitude. Whenever I think about the day you came into this world, I am reminded that some moments are too sacred to be explained; they can only be felt. You came into my life, and something inside me became forever connected to you. Our story began long before you could look into my eyes, hold my fingers, or recognise my voice. And somehow, even now, I feel that the bond we share is deeper than words could ever describe. You are only two, my baby, but there are moments when I look into your eyes and feel as though you know a part of me that nobody else knows. There is something about you that touches the deepest corners of my heart. Perhaps it is the way you look for me, the way you come close to me, the way your little presence makes even an ordinary day feel special. Or perhaps it is simply because you are my daughter, and a part of my heart will always recognise a part of itself in you. You may not remember these early years when you grow older. You may not remember the way I watched you sleep, the way I held you close, the countless times I checked on you just to make sure you were okay, or the little moments when I looked at you and silently thanked Allah for your life. But I hope that, somehow, you will always feel how deeply you were loved. I hope you grow up knowing that you were never just another chapter in my life. You became a part of my story that I could never imagine living without. My sweet girl, motherhood has taught me that love is not always expressed through beautiful words. Sometimes, it is in the sacrifices nobody sees. It is in the silent prayers whispered over a sleeping child. It is in the worries a mother carries quietly, the strength she discovers when she has no choice but to be strong, and the countless ways she tries to make the world gentler for the little person who calls her Mum. And for you, my darling, I pray that my love will always be a safe place for your heart. I pray that as you grow, the world will be kind to you. I pray that Allah will protect your innocence, guard your heart, guide your steps, and surround you with people who recognise the precious soul that you are. May He make you a woman of beautiful character, firm faith, a gentle heart, and a strength that comes from knowing Him. May Allah grant you a life filled with barakah, good health, genuine happiness, beneficial knowledge, and beautiful opportunities. May He protect you from pain that breaks you, friendships that diminish you, and situations that make you question your worth. And when life inevitably becomes difficult, may He give you the courage to keep going and the certainty that His mercy is always near. I pray that you will always know Allah, love Him, trust Him, and find comfort in Him. May you grow to love your deen, carry it with dignity, and become a source of goodness wherever you go. And, my baby, I pray that I will be the mother you need me to be. I pray for the wisdom to guide you without dim

As a Tenant, here are 10 precautions you should take: 1. Inspect the property physically before you make payment. Don’t agree to the promise that damages would be repaired upon payment. 2. Do not make payment of the agreed rent, until you are clear of the terms of the tenancy. 3. Before you sign the tenancy agreement, make sure you read through the lines, clauses and paragraphs of the agreement. Or, get a lawyer to review the agreement for you. 4. Ensure there is a clause in the tenancy agreement preventing your landlord to increase rent without reasonable notice. Your landlord can increase your rent annually unless you have a clause in the agreement limiting his right to do so arbitrarily. 5. Ensure you keep receipts of your rent payment. If you paid in cash, make sure you collect receipts from your landlord. 6. Take picture and videos of the apartment before you pack in. It will help you in objecting to your landlord’s claim that you left the apartment in a non-tenantable condition, and you will be able to get refund of the caution fee you paid. 7. Ensure all your communications with your landlord are recorded by way of writing, whatsapp chat or call recording. 8. Do not make structural alterations to the apartment without the consent of your landlord. 9. Where you carry out structural adjustment on the apartment with your landlord’s consent and you are willing to retain the apartment for a longer period, make sure there is a written agreement to that effect. 10. Always collect any document served on you by your landlord or his agent/lawyer. It does not mean you agree with the content. @Assarumy . August 29, 2026

I would have asked for the name of that employee whose quality, expertise and experience are so rare in the industry. As far as legal profession is concerned, you are always replaceable. Big firms don't wait till you resign before they build someone to replace you immediately.
A guy resigned from his job last month. His manager tried 4 different tactics to keep him. He said no to all of them. Then the MD called personally with a 5th. What happened next is why he is glad he documented everything.

You can only feel irreplaceable when your firm lacks foresight that an employee may leave regardless of how best/worst you treated him/her. or where you bring fat briefs to the firm. If only what you bring to the table are expertise and experience, you are very replaceable.

The most disorganised people are those who run computer ventures (printing & photocopying). It is either they can't operate their devices well or have their printers/photocopiers faulty. Worst still, their ITK is 2nd to none. Guy, move away. Let me handle it for you jare😱

This is settled. That's called implied overruling. Unlike the position before that SC must specifically constitute a full panel to overrule itself, the position now is that a latter decision can impliedly overrule a formal position.
There is a decision of the Supreme Court where their lordships held that they are not bound by their previous decisions and that a later decision should be taken as having overruled earlier decision where they conflict.

No is NO (capitalised).
This guy asked me out, and I turned him down. I honestly thought he’d try to convince me or keep texting. Instead, he respected my decision, disappeared, and now I’m the one thinking about him. 😭

Someone commented on my tweet about my ex, that I dated an illiterate 😂. Sigh. You people still don’t understand my type of woman. The things I look out for in a man are not the things other women want. They want a PhD holder with the money of Otedola who will give them baby girl treatment for free and tolerate their bad behaviors. I want a man who is proud of his grind and has built himself with or without education, has a sense of morality and is a man around the house (can lift heavy things for me, fix things in the house etc). You can be a pidgin speaking degree less man but you are hustling hard and you have good morals, you don’t beat women, you are not stopping me from working, you’re dark skinned etc, I will happily date and marry you and be proud of you. I already speak and write stellar English. I am not dating or marrying you for grammar classes. I am with you first because I love you and you make me happy. So trying to shame me for falling in love and once dating a man who doesn’t write too well no go work o. As much as things ended, he is a hardworking man who built himself from that man born in one far village in the east into one of the biggest car and spare parts dealers in Abj. I don’t mind a man who will shout “na my wife be that” in serious pidgin when I am giving speeches, and calls my salads and teas oyibo food while he eats his akpu and oha. I don’t need the one that will be forming posh and speaking supri supri. I am ajebo enough for both of us. Love does not discriminate. Besides men who aren’t too educated always carry their very educated career wives on their heads like a trophy 😆😌. He may be a hustler but he won’t hesitate to brag that his wife is a lawyer.

... needed to access a state law a few months ago, I nearly cried because I couldn't tell my Oga that the legislation could not be found. I spoke to some colleagues in firms in Lagos to help my life. Fortunately, a colleague helped me to find another colleague who knew another colleague in that state.
I decided to draft a legal application two weeks ago. I've spent nearly all that time just trying to find the actual law my clients were charged under. Let that absurdity sink in. As a lawyer, with legal research skills and professional networks, I struggled for two weeks to locate the legislation I needed to work with. I finally obtained it yesterday and immediately distributed it to other lawyers I'd encountered during my search, because they were facing the same struggle. I need to file this application on Monday when the matter is coming up, so I don't appear negligent before the Court. The timeline I am working with does not care that the law was nearly impossible to access. The fundamental problem is that we're told "ignorance of the law is no excuse," yet the law itself is often hidden behind paywalls, buried in inaccessible databases, or simply unavailable to the average citizen. How can we expect compliance when access to law is a privilege, not a right? Laws must be freely accessible to all. Period. f we're bound by them, we deserve to read them without barriers. Have you ever struggled to access a legislation you needed? This shouldn't be the norm in a functioning legal system. #LegalTech #AccessToJustice #RuleOfLaw #LegalReform

Per Shariah, it depends on the circumstances. In case of righteousness, it is in the following order: 1. God & His Prophet 2. Mom 3. Mom 4. Mom 5. Dad 6. Wife 7. Children 8. Relatives & Kindred 9. Orphans 10. Poor people 11. Alm seekers/beggars 12. Slaves 13. Others In case of maintenance: 1. Wife 2. Children 3. Mom and Dad 4. items 8-13 NB: By expending your maintenance in that order, it is deemed that you have expended on the path of Allah and His beloved Prophet. Thank you. Ridwan Sarumi April 28, 2026.
