It wasn’t the wildfire that did her in; the Palisades held their nose and voted for her, and the rest of LA doesn’t care about the Palisades. They had their own reasons. South Central hates Karen cuz she abandoned them in favor of criminal migrants. Boyle Heights hates her for the warehouse fire. DTLA hates her for the bums. Hollywood hates her for the restaurant collapse and water main breaks. When Nithya presides over the same intractable issues in LA, they will hate her all the same. LA needed radical change. Not a change in radicals.

$84,000 to stand around with your boys and not even be able to talk because it’s so loud and then leave to go get pizza shitfaced at a food court then and tell your boy the bottle girl looked at you twice. That is so sick.

Well, the good news is that the Dems who won last night all seem pretty level headed and reasonable.
That "I" category will be overwhelmingly Dem. Just be prepared.

Some Election Day thoughts…
They tell us every election is the most important of our lifetime. Well folks, this one actually is.
This midterm is a referendum on whether America stays a free market constitutional republic or keeps drifting toward the socialist, Marxist, Islamist direction the Democratic Party has now fully embraced.
A lot of people on the left know that to be true. They know this isn’t the party they grew up with. They’re just scared to say out loud they’re voting Republican.
Well fine then. Don’t say it. Nobody’s watching in the booth. Vote your conscience, not your fear. You’re the only one who has to look at yourself in the mirror at the end of the day.
This isn’t two normal parties back in the day arguing over tax rates. It’s whether the greatest experiment in self-governance actually continues or not.
To the decent liberals still out there…the Bill Maher / John Fetterman types…your home is the Republican Party now.
If you think the founding of America was good, the Constitution is good, free speech and free markets are good, and that we should be able to disagree without tearing the country apart, then let go of whatever you’ve been told about Republicans. Trump made the tent bigger. And I assure you, if there’s room for me, there’s room for you.
If Democrats take the House you know exactly what happens. Impeachment theater. More radicals from the socialist wing. And a faster slide toward what Europe is living through right now after open borders and massive government.
Every one of us had ancestors who had it way harder than we do. I don’t want to be part of the generation that gave all this goodness away. I don’t think you do, either.
Our future is incredibly bright if we make the right choices today. It really is as simple as that.
So get out and vote Republican today, and save America tomorrow.
This is a pretty strange tweet for 10am.
Democrats are heavily favored in public polling in the House and in several key Senate races. If those numbers prove accurate, it’s possible that NBC News could project control of both chambers on election night. But it’s more likely that determining the winners will take time. nbcnews.com/politics/2026-el…
The most succinct summary of the midterms.
Just yesterday @michaeljknowles said this will be the most interesting race to track...not sure he meant for this reason!
The Westchester County Board of Elections (BOE) is aware of an issue involving paper ballots that is preventing voting machines from accepting ballots at polling locations throughout the County. The Westchester Board of Elections wants to reassure every voter that your vote matters, your ballot will be secure and your vote will be counted.
The Board of Elections is in constant communication with New York State officials, Westchester County Government and poll workers to address this issue and ensure that voting continues with as little disruption as possible. In the meantime, voters should continue to complete their paper ballots as instructed by poll workers. Ballots will be placed in designated orange emergency ballot bags, which will remain secure and monitored. These ballots will subsequently be counted in accordance with applicable election procedures.
We strongly encourage all voters to remain in line, exercise patience and, most importantly, cast their ballots.
The BOE sincerely apologizes to voters and poll workers for the inconvenience this situation has caused, and the BOE recognizes the importance of a smooth and efficient voting process. They are taking every necessary step to address the issue as quickly as possible.
Let us be absolutely clear: Every eligible vote will be counted. No voter should be discouraged from participating in this election because of this issue. Your voice matters. Your vote matters. Please stay in line and vote.
Guys, it's 67 degrees with a clear blue sky. What are we doing?
Due to a power outage, the Vote Center located at the Laveen Elementary School District Office is
