I want to shake up the podcast space
nothing gets me more excited then having conversations with incredible people and spreading their knowledge to the world
plotting
there is two sides I see to this new clipping meta of content
1 - they are correct clipping is the new content economy. your audience or brand is build through clipping
(people aren'nt even able to watch netflix anymore)
2 - the pendulum always swings the other way and their will be a huge audience that is looking to build a long term connection with people
the solution to this is doing extremely long form unedited content on a platform like youtube
dont worry about edit's just worry about value and raw conversation
Unpopular opinion: having money is a disadvantage when you start making content
You think resources will fix it. They won't. Storytelling is a craft, and you only get good if you actually enjoy the reps
It's why most people who get into content after making money are terrible at it
why is there a flood of people in the tech space just now realizing content is powerful?
I understand ai can copy most products now but
Where have you been...
every tech company is struggling to find a chronically online social media creative that just gets it
the future of streaming will be live shows
a set duration, the same date and time every week
similar to podcasts but more timely and hyped
haven't seen anyone really crack it super well yet though and drive the masses
podcast's have got so stale these days
a bunch of overproduced sets and after effects trailers
someone needs to switch it up
location, show format, length, etc
someone needs to shake it up
go do an interview on top of a mountain or something at least

taste is now the highest leverage ability I look for with hiring producers. 90% of people all have the same skills when it comes to videography/editing. The real needle mover is taste and it's why most of the biggest creators of today are blowing up. You cant teach taste.
Volume is the only reason I have had any success in my life
there is a lot of talented people out there, but they lack volume
shoot more shots, put up more reps, push your capacity further
