I’m going to say this as simply as possible:
If people have to pay to get the specific IDs needed to vote, which millions of Americans do not have, then that is a poll tax which is illegal, per the 24th Amendment of the Constitution.
If you want a voter ID law, then make getting those IDs free and easy, so the voter ID law aligns with the Constitution.
Right now it’s voter suppression, which is the opposite of election integrity.
They love saying “America is a Christian nation” until it comes time to:
welcoming immigrants
helping the poor
feeding the hungry
housing the unhoused
providing healthcare
showing mercy
practicing humility
telling the truth
being faithful to their spouses
caring for the sick
protecting children
loving their neighbors
showing basic empathy

I have no doubt you love these players, but you do owe us fans more than what you gave yesterday on the court and in the press conference.
You make millions of dollars and the average fan makes $50K and they packed those stands yesterday for you.
But you can love your players and be verbally pissed and forthwith too.
You are turning a fanbase against you for your own pride.
Either fix this mess and be more transparent with the fans or step down.
You know we don’t 18 million to pay you off, and if we did, financially damage this athletic department for years to come.
