Would anyone be interested in trading a sealed box of Mudwater signed by Beeple for a MAYC? @BoredApeYC โ at Fort Mill, SC

Quick thoughts from someone who took a big step back from the BAYC/Yuga ecosystem the last 1.5 years and is starting to lean back in...
The narrative on @yugalabs and @BoredApeYC is changing.
Over the last few months we've seen:
- @0xQuit saving NFTs.
- @mfigge and team saving Apes and others from the Blur loan unwind.
- The team throwing a banger AF at @beeple's studio.
- A successful TCG launch with Mudwater, bringing the excitement of trading and collecting back to the swamp (and beyond).
- Mudwater buying $APE with 2.5% of every trade. Small, but real buy pressure and a step in the right direction.
- Meaningful progress on @OthersideMeta, presented by @imjameshall and @cryptosanteezy in their AF and Discord sessions.
- Unique BAYC/MAYC holder count go up.
Success leads to more success, and success brings confidence back into the ecosystem and the assets in it. I think a real turnaround is underway.
It's still early after some rough years. Reputation matters, and Yuga's took a hit. It takes time to earn that back, but I believe we're in the early innings. More work is needed, and everyone knows it. But for the first time in a while, I see a path back to the vision we got behind in '21/'22, with real progress and a clearer, less cluttered plan to get there.
I gave a lot of myself to this community over a few years and needed some quiet time away to focus on other areas of my life and businesses. I'm excited to be back and have some fun with you all again.
See you in the MudWater. (Swamp)
Iโm coming for your cards. ๐ซก

There are people in a warehouse ripping physical MUDWATER packs 24/7 to reveal what people onchain rip digitally.
Someone raised a fair question about trust: what happens if a pack reveals a 1/1? What stops a ripper from pocketing it? ๐
@0xQuit said there are cameras on them. ๐๏ธ
Okay, hear me outโฆ
What if the physical ripping thatโs already being recorded was LIVE STREAMED? ๐ฟ๐
And what if you could only watch that livestream inside Otherside? ๐คฏ๐คฏ๐คฏ
Imagine the excitement, participation AND extra layer of trust that could create.
Degens like me would absolutely lose it ๐๐ฅณ
Ripping digital packs on one screen, watching it being ripped IRL and live streamed to Otherside on another screen ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
Too much to ask, or can devs do something? ๐

Common Uncommon and Rare serials will be inside serialized packs available to claim from ApeFest attendees (and maybe airdrop claimers? Not sure)
Prestige and Legendary serials are in the regular packs (physical/digital). Theyโre the chase right now in pack rips.

Riped a random pack and pulled an amazing legendary "The Prophet" and a beautifully foiled "The Sardines".
Happy Mudwater Monday!!

thought about initial mudwater distribution like a token allo
vast majority (71%) of the supply given for free to bayc and mayc + boxes for those who went to apefest
IRL has been a very important focus and mudwater allo can further enhance those moments
566 boxes set aside for community onboarding
empowers us to send some boxes or even a case to bayc IRL events
imo the destiny of these boxes is to to be ripped IRL, no hoarding, no stacking, all 566 boxes are traded for memories and great pulls
don't be surprised to see boxes at bayc events
btw it's not normal for collectible card projects to share their box numbers and distributions
but i thought it was important to publish so people can get a sense of the strategy
bc we wanna do things a lil differently
I am confused. So there's none serialized card inside the packs currently circulating, digital or physical?
How will serialized packs (with serialized cards) inside distributed? It's said to be random but how exactly? Chances Prorata to packs you hold?

Ripping MUDWATER TCG packs with @AdamWeitsman and the crew.
From collecting JPEGs to making memories like these IRL.
This is the part of Web3 you canโt put a floor price on.

Itโs pretty dope to work w/ @mfigge on @MnemeFoundation and @LACMA bc we learn so much about how he sees culture, product and production. Heโs so committed to the world of digital art and Iโm sure that others will be inspired to get off the sidelines and join the movement as he has!
have been spending a lot of time working as a part of @LACMA digital leadership group and very happy to share...
bayc, mayc, and more than 200 works represent the initial donation with works that explore the intersection of art and technology
spans six decades of the medium, from pioneering computer works of the 1960โs through the NFT era
assembled by artists, philanthropists, and technologists - supported by damDAO and Mneme Foundation, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to digital art, this initiative will further expand the museumโs role in shaping scholarship and discourse around digital culture, and aiming to become one of the most comprehensive collection of digital art in the world
