I agree with you. Mets fans are so scared of having tough questions be asked to people they like. It’s a good question because i would like to know why the hell he thought it was ok to sit on a couch between innings away from his teammates.
There is a reason why New York is tough. The reporters aren’t scared to challenge the players. Beat reporters from other cities coverup for players and make it easy on them.
I don't know why this has to be said, but @NYPost_Mets has every right to ask Juan Soto what he thought of Eric Chavez's comments. It's literally his job to ask those questions.
As for Chavez, he has every right to share what his experience was working for the #Mets, etc. Whether his commentary was/is accurate is another story. But he has the right to speak his mind.
As the #Mets season careens into a ditch, what's most upsetting is how the #Mets fan family is attacking each other.
Let's get through this, folks.
