Dr. Moran: " Manipulate the task and the environment, and you will allow the individual to celebrate their ability ... go and help every student turn a barrier into a hurdle." Chill bumps for sure. @JMU #SHAPENashville #SHAPEAmerica

Over the last seven seasons, Illinois has cut its midrange share by nearly two-thirds. The Illini went from 69th to 7th among high-majors in three-point share.

Pre-season conditioning, is not just about getting in shape. It’s about seeing who will fight thru adversity. Who fight or flee during tough times. And will the team stay together. It’s more than just a mile time.

The fun part, is designing scoring systems in drills that you already have and incorporate it into film, reports, team language etc. 🫡🔥
Simple analytics tip for small staffs: Build your own Shot Quality system.
You don’t need an advanced model.
3 = Great shot — rim/open 3
2 = Good shot — clean paint touch/catch-and-shoot
1 = Poor shot — contested 2/forced jumper
Then compare shot quality vs. actual FG%.
A make doesn’t always mean it was a good shot.
A miss doesn’t always mean it was a bad possession.
Track the process, not just the result.
Now posted on the @DailyMemphian preps page: The shot clock is coming to Tennessee high school basketball. But full implementation will look more like a four corners than a fast break. dailymemphian.com/section/sp…
