NEWS: Akron transfer forward Amani Lyles has committed to Cincinnati, source told @On3.

Sources: Le Moyne College is on the cusp of joining The Metro Conference in all sports starting in 2027-28. The sides are deep in discussions with The Metro (formerly the MAAC), and a deal is expected to come together in the near future. Le Moyne is leaving the NEC.

It's somehow October already! That means College Hoops is coming in just a month! Throughout this month we're going to highlight some teams we're excited about this year Miami RedHawks @MiamiOH_BBall Who else could it be? Miami was the story of the sport last year and yes they lost some key guys but there's still plenty of firepower for this team. Travis Steele is back to lead this squad and they still have some key contributors back, plus Evan Ipsaro returns after missing last year due to injury. He was already out when most of the nation started paying attention, so a lot of fans don't realize how much of an impactful player he is. The RedHawks are once again a top contender to win the MAC

Reducing the NIT to 24 teams is such a hard blow to Mid-Major teams. The Selection Committee is not going to be putting mid-majors in the NCAA Tournament, so all we are doing with this move is reducing the amount of programs that have a chance at playing in the postseason.
