I've watched the Duke v. Belmont exhibition twice, a game between a national contender and one of the best teams in my home-conference.
I took notes on how each team performed and how individual players looked in their first minutes of the 2026-27 season.

Who else could it be? Miami was the story of the sport last year and yes they lost some key guys but there's still plenty of firepower for this team.
Travis Steele is back to lead this squad and they still have some key contributors back, plus Evan Ipsaro returns after missing last year due to injury. He was already out when most of the nation started paying attention, so a lot of fans don't realize how much of an impactful player he is. The RedHawks are once again a top contender to win the MAC
