We saw many football clubs pay their respects over the weekend ahead of remembrance Sunday this upcoming weekend 🌹 however for Falkirk yesterday, this was not possible.
Falkirk faced Celtic at home yesterday afternoon but decided to DELAY their remembrance tributes. And we all know why!
With the opponents being who they were, the TV cameras there and previous years of disrespect, we all know what would've happened.
Falkirk next have Hearts away (Sunday 8th November) and then following an international break face St Johnstone on Saturday 21st November which is when they will now have their remembrance tributes.
It is very sad that clubs have to change their plans all because of that one club and their fans who refuse to respect and stay silent for 1 minute and the SFA failing to get a grip of it.

If this is you....hold your fucking head in shame.
You are not one of us, you don't represent us. Don't ever come back to the CBS.

Rival fans are already celebrating because Brighton are 1-0 up, you clearly don't know about second half City.
We'll show Brighton why you don't score City first, be there at full time when we score 3 goals to demolish Brigton and complete the comeback, if this doesn't happen call me a big fool.

🚨Erling Haaland on Bart Verbruggen performance against Manchester City during Brighton’s 1-0 victory:
🗣️ Erling Haaland: “Honestly, he was unbelievable today. I have to give him credit because that was one of the most frustrating performances I’ve come up against from a goalkeeper.
We created chances, we got into dangerous positions, and every time we thought we were about to score, he was there.
“I went to him after the full-time whistle and gave him a handshake. I wanted to congratulate him personally because when a goalkeeper performs at that level against you, you have to show respect. He absolutely deserved it.
“I’m not going to lie, there were moments when I was standing there wondering what else we needed to do to get the ball past him. I had chances, my teammates had chances, and he kept finding a way to stop us. Low shots, close-range attempts, powerful strikes he dealt with everything.
“There was one save in particular where I genuinely thought the ball was going in. I had already started thinking about celebrating, and suddenly he’s down there with his hand on the ball. I looked at him and just laughed because what else can you do?
“That’s what makes a goalkeeper special. It’s not just about making saves; it’s about giving your entire team confidence. You could see Brighton growing into the game because they knew they had someone behind them who was going to keep them in it.
“And what impressed me even more was his composure. He wasn’t panicking, he wasn’t making unnecessary movements, and he wasn’t trying to show off. He was just doing his job. Every time we put pressure on Brighton, he looked calm.
“People will probably talk about Brighton’s goal and how they managed to beat us, but I think Bart deserves a lot of the attention today. Winning 1-0 against Manchester City is not easy, especially when you have to defend for long periods and deal with the kind of attacking quality we have.
“He was like a wall! [laughs] Honestly, I don’t know how many times we tested him, but he kept giving us the same answer.
“I also respect the fact that he didn’t spend the entire game shouting or trying to get into our heads. He was surprisingly quiet. He let his performances do the talking, and sometimes that’s the loudest statement you can make.
“I’m sure there will be plenty of people talking about him after this game. He’s still young, he’s got tremendous potential, and if he keeps developing at this rate, he’s going to become one of the best goalkeepers around.
“Today, he won his battle against us. I don’t enjoy losing, obviously, but I can recognise a brilliant performance when I see one.
“Next time I come up against him, I’ll be hoping for a different story. But today? He deserves every bit of praise he’s going to receive. What a goalkeeper!”

We believe this will resonate with supporters of many Premier League clubs who have had enough and have even stopped going.
Disgruntled Crystal Palace fans have announced a pre-match protest ahead of their Premier League game against Liverpool on Sunday 8 November.
The Palace fans' protest is not about results or performances on the pitch. It is about the club's current strategy, which prioritises tourists & short-term profits over loyal, match-going fans.
There is a growing disconnect between the club & its supporters. The fans are the backbone of the football club, & they do not accept the current direction that the club is taking, selling its soul in the process.
Should we at any point find ourselves in the second tier of English football, the club will regret prioritising tourists over a sustainable plan to grow the Crystal Palace fanbase with South Londoners.
WHY THEY ARE PROTESTING.
TICKETS
Match tickets costing up to £70 are pricing out local supporters, particularly young South Londoners. Additional charges, including £50 to share a season ticket, put profit before loyalty.
MATCHDAY EXPERIENCE
Selhurst Park is losing its identity. Loud commercial music, club-funded displays, pyrotechnics and manufactured entertainment are replacing the authentic atmosphere created by supporters.
RESTRICTIONS.
The club continues to restrict fan-funded banners & displays, while refusing requests to allow supporters to create their own atmosphere without music drowning them out.
RAIL SEATING.
Eight years after the club backed safe standing, there is still no rail seating in the home areas of Selhurst Park, preventing the growth of a sustainable singing section.
DEMANDING CHANGE.
Despite the club enjoying its most successful period, many supporters feel increasingly disconnected from Crystal Palace.
We want affordable football, a vibrant Selhurst Park, safe standing, freedom to support our team and a long-term strategy that puts South Londoners first.
This is not Crystal Palace. We are a fanbase who have historically created our own atmosphere. The club has lost sight of what made us special in the English game, of what our unique selling point was, & the club has destroyed it.
THE FANS ARE THE CLUB.
* Speaking as a Palace fan myself, over the last ten years, I've slowly fallen out of love with football — or, more accurately, what the Premier League has become and have been getting a proper football fix by going to non-league.
My love for Palace has never wavered, but I have to admit that loyalty & emotional connection have been severely tested.
The last two seasons gave me renewed hope. For a while, it felt as though the passion, excitement & belief had returned. But looking back, perhaps those moments of joy merely papered over the cracks in what has become an increasingly strained relationship.
To witness Palace finally lift silverware was a dream come true, and that's what makes the current situation so difficult to comprehend.
We should be on top of the world. Yes, performances on the pitch haven't been great lately, but football has always been about more than results. It's about belonging, identity, community and that unbreakable bond between a club and its supporters.
Yet, instead of riding the crest of a wave after one of the greatest periods in our club's history, so many supporters seem to feel disconnected, disenfranchised and increasingly alienated from the very club they've devoted so much of their lives to.
That should be setting alarm bells ringing.
Because when supporters who have stood by their club through decades of disappointment, heartbreak and adversity begin to question their connection to it, something is fundamentally wrong.
The saddest part isn't that we're struggling on the pitch. It's that, even after finally achieving everything we once dreamed of, something about the club we love no longer feels quite the same.

It's the 125th anniversary of @BHAFC this season.
Players and managers have come and gone, we've had four different grounds and plenty of ups and downs in that time.
One constant has been the fanbase, who have turned up in their droves at the Goldstone, Priestfield, Withdean and now The Amex. For the vast majority of those 125 years, many of those fans have bought a programme as part of their matchday routine.
To coincide with the anniversary, I have written a book on the history of the #BHAFC programme, from humble beginnings in the early 20th Century, to the beautifully produced magazine of the current day.
With nearly 1,700 images and over 45,000 words the book charts at the development of the programme, as well as looking at fanzines, the player profile and much more.
It's available from seagullsprogrammes.co.uk, from the Albion club shop, City Books in Hove and stanchionbooks.com

🚨 Roberto De Zerbi on Brighton’s remarkable start to the season:
“People see Brighton second in the table, scoring more goals than anyone, and they ask, ‘How do they keep doing this? They sell their best players every summer.’
I understand the question. I worked there. I asked it myself sometimes.
When Alexis Mac Allister and Moisés Caicedo left, people outside the club looked at the money and thought Brighton had won the transfer window. But as a coach, you don’t look at the money. You look at your midfield and think, ‘Okay, who is going to play on Saturday?’
I remember conversations with the people at the club. You would ask about a player and they wouldn’t just give you a name. They knew his strengths, his weaknesses, what he needed to improve, how he would fit into the team. Sometimes they had been following him long before anybody was talking about selling the player he might replace.
And that is the difference.
At many clubs, the manager leaves and suddenly everybody wants to start again. New ideas, new players, new recruitment department, new project. Six months later, the manager is gone and they start another project. Brighton don’t do that.
Of course, Graham Potter, myself and Fabian Hurzeler are different coaches. We don’t see every situation in exactly the same way. But Brighton know what kind of football they want. They don’t appoint a manager and then ask the entire club to become something else for him. They find someone who can build on what is already there.
I used to tell people that at Brighton, you are not arriving to build a house on an empty piece of land. The foundations are there. Your job is to make the house better. And when you leave, they don’t knock it down.
Look at them now. They lose players, people predict a difficult season, and then another young player comes into the team and plays like he has been there for five years. You think, ‘Where did they find this one?’ And before you have learned his name, somebody is already discussing how much a bigger club will pay for him.
But the beautiful thing is that Brighton supporters can enjoy these players without feeling that the whole club will disappear when one of them leaves.
You can buy a very good footballer. You can even buy eleven. What is much harder to buy is a club where the scouting, the coaching, the recruitment and the football all make sense together.
Brighton have built that. And I think some much bigger clubs should stop asking which Brighton player they can sign next, and start asking why Brighton keep producing teams they want to take players from.”

This Aston Villa fan showing off his seat at yesterdays game. Think it's fair to say that this might easily be the worst seat in the Premier League, you can barely see past the goals...
How on earth are they even allowed to sell a seat from here, massive respect to the lad for going to the game, but that's just shameful from the club...
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The photo is from a humorous fan post and shows a non-ticketed walkway/service area at Villa Park, not a sold spectator seat. The original poster called it "not the greatest seat.. but a seat nonetheless."
