This is a reminder that REPUBLICANS almost made Haley Stevens the nominee instead of Abdul.
If you look at the % of ballot abandonments in the Michigan primary from Senate to State Senate votes, the counties with the higher amount of voters who didn't vote in the State Senate race were where Stevens performed better.
That is a main indicator of Republican voters crossing over in the open primary to vote against Abdul, which is why the election was much closer than the blowout polls indicated prior to the primary.
If you combine Republican crossover voting with the $33,000,000 in AIPAC spending to boost Stevens, it's clear that Stevens has never had a organic support among Democrats or Independents and would have gotten crushed if it were a closed primary without dark money.
She is clearly meant to be a spoiler against Abdul and the left.
