Mguu wangu unaoza, nakufa huku najiona, naomba msaada maana nimekata tamaa. Naitwa Pascal James Mayalla, mkazi wa Kahama Shinyanga. Mwaka 2023 nilipata ajali ya pikipiki nikiwa Zanzibar nikielekea kazini. Kwa bahati mbaya nikavunjika mguu mara 2. Nikatibiwa Zanzibar na kuwekewa vyuma. Nilipopata nafuu niliomba kurudi nyumbani Kahama maana Zanzibar sikuwa na ndugu.
Hali yangu ikatengemaa kidogo na mwaka 2024 nikarudi Zanzibar kuendelea na kazi. Lakini kwa bahati mbaya mwaka jana, chuma nilichowekewa kilichomoka screw hivyo kikatoka sehemu husika na kuchoma nyama kwa ndani na kutengeneza kidonda kipya.
Nilipata maumivu makali sana. Nikaenda hospitali kikatolewa na kuwekwa kingine. Lakini Oktoba 2025 nilipata mtikisiko uliosababisha chuma nilichowekewa mguuni kukatika na kusababisha mfupa kuachana na mguu kupinda. Niliomba nirudishwe nyumbani Kahama. Hata hivyo sikuweza kwenda hospitali kutokana na kukosa pesa za matibabu.
Hali yangu inazidi kuwa mbaya kwani sehemu ya chuma kilichokatika imesababisha infection kwenye mfupa na kuendeleza kidonda kisichopona (Chronic Osteomyelitis).
Nimeelezwa kuwa hali hii inaweza kunisababishia kansa inayotokana na kidonda cha muda mrefu kisichopona (Squamous Cell Carcinoma).
Matibabu ninayohitaji kwa sasa ni operation ya kunyoosha mguu, kusafisha kidonda na kuweka chuma kingine. Gharama ni TZS 2.8M tu lakini nimelala kitandani mwaka mzima kwa kushindwa kumudu gharama hiyo. Naomba msaada niweze kupata matibabu mapema ili niepuke risk ya kupata saratani.

A longtime flight instructor and mentor of 20-year-old Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras, who tragically lost her life in Sunday’s plane crash in Palm Beach County, Florida, has released an emotional statement describing her as the most naturally gifted pilot he had ever taught in his 40-year career.
Chris Kirk, who was one of Nathalia’s first flight instructors, spoke out following the devastating November 1, 2026, crash that killed all nine people aboard a Learjet 60.
His statement comes as Nathalia has faced criticism on social media, with some questioning whether someone so young had the experience necessary to serve as a co-pilot aboard a private jet.
However, according to Kirk, Nathalia’s abilities were nothing short of extraordinary.
“She was without a doubt the most naturally gifted pilot I have ever taught, and I have been teaching for 40 years!!” Kirk wrote.
“That young lady was born to fly! There was not a check ride that the examiner was not blown away!”
Kirk explained that Nathalia’s aviation skills were so advanced that even experienced examiners were astonished by her abilities.
“When she did her Lear type rating, she had less than 1100 hours and she absolutely aced the PIC type rating and the examiner thought she had about 5000 hours!”
A PIC (Pilot in Command) type rating demonstrates that a pilot has successfully completed specialized training and testing to operate a particular type of aircraft. According to Kirk, Nathalia performed so exceptionally well that her examiner believed she had accumulated thousands more flight hours than she actually had.
Kirk also recalled giving Nathalia opportunities to fly several different types of aircraft, including tailwheel airplanes and a Cessna Caravan.
He shared a humorous memory from her training, explaining that while teaching her the spins required for her Certified Flight Instructor endorsement, they performed so many spins that he actually began feeling nauseated.
But perhaps the most meaningful part of Kirk’s tribute was his description of Nathalia’s genuine love for aviation.
He expressed disappointment that some aspiring pilots appear more interested in the financial rewards of becoming airline pilots than in flying itself.
Nathalia, he explained, was completely different.
“Nathalia was PASSIONATE about flying!!! She was a 💯% natural born pilot!!!”
Kirk concluded his tribute with a heartbreaking message:
“I pray that she continues to fly amongst the clouds in heaven. May she rest in peace and God watch over her.”

Akizungumza jijini Geneva leo, siku moja kabla ya uwasilishaji huo, Waziri wa Katiba na Sheria, Abdallah Hamis Ulega, ameeleza kuwa mapitio hayo yanatoa fursa ya kipekee kwa Tanzania kueleza mafanikio makubwa yaliyopatikana nchini, kuwasilisha utekelezaji wa mapendekezo ya miaka ya nyuma, pamoja na kuthibitisha dhamira ya Serikali ya kuendelea kuimarisha na kulinda haki za binadamu.
Waziri Ulega amebainisha kuwa chini ya uongozi wa Rais wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania, Dkt. Samia Suluhu Hassan, na kupitia falsafa yake ya Maridhiano, Ustahimilivu, Mageuzi, na Kujenga Upya (4Rs), nchi imepiga hatua kubwa katika kuimarisha misingi ya utawala bora na haki za binadamu.
Taarifa hiyo ya Nne inaainisha hatua zilizotekelezwa katika kipindi cha mwaka 2021/22 hadi 2026, hususan katika maeneo ya utawala wa sheria, upatikanaji wa haki, afya, elimu, majisafi, na miundombinu. Maandalizi ya taarifa hiyo yalihusisha ushirikiano wa karibu kati ya Serikali ya Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania na Serikali ya Mapinduzi ya Zanzibar, yakishirikisha Wizara, Idara, Mahakama, Asasi za Kiraia (AZAKI), taasisi za kidini, na mashirika ya watu wenye ulemavu.
Ushiriki wa Tanzania katika mchakato huu unaendana moja kwa moja na malengo ya Dira ya Taifa ya Maendeleo 2050, inayolenga kujenga taifa lenye ustawi, haki, ujumuishi, na uwezo wa kujitegemea, huku utu wa binadamu na usawa wa fursa vikiwa misingi mikuu.
Utaratibu wa UPR chini ya Baraza la Haki za Binadamu la UN hutoa fursa kwa nchi zote wanachama kupitia hali ya haki za binadamu kwa misingi ya usawa, kuwasilisha hatua zilizochukuliwa, na kupokea ushauri pamoja na mapendekezo kutoka mataifa mengine ili kuimarisha zaidi utekelezaji wa haki hizo duniani.
