Once again, Trump has made clear he doesn't give a damn about the American people.
Instead of working to lower costs or end the war in Iran after voters delivered a clear rebuke of his administration, he’s focused on one thing: his ugly renovations, paid for with YOUR hard-earned taxpayer dollars.
Trump: We have something that’s of great interest to a lot of people: the Oval Office and the Cabinet Room.
And I’m going to be signing a document which will make them into a landmark for the ages. It won’t be able to be taken down, destroyed, touched, or anything else.
It’s a federal landmark. And when completed, and when we get the documentation fully done, legally binding, it’ll make it impossible for anybody ever to destroy this incredible space.

BREAKING: A REPORTED CHINESE SPY. NVIDIA’S CEO. AND BILLIONS IN AI CHIPS.
The Financial Times reports U.S. intelligence believed Jensen Huang had a romantic relationship with a woman suspected of working for Chinese intelligence.
Her alleged mission? Gain access to Huang and influence U.S. AI chip policy.
The same CEO has lobbied Washington to ease export restrictions on advanced chips.
Now three House committees want answers.
What did the administration know, and why did business continue?
The intelligence allegations remain unproven publicly.
The national security questions are anything but hypothetical.
Full story and receipts below.
The story keeps getting crazier. To recap everything that has been reported so far:
- The US intelligence community discovered that Jensen Huang, the CEO of the largest company in the world, was sleeping with Alice Huang, a Chinese spy and an executive at Megaspeed. (FT)
- Multiple independent investigations have concluded that Megaspeed is likely a Chinese cutout, which helps Chinese companies access AI chips or circumvent export controls. (NYT and Bloomberg)
- The US intelligence community also concluded that Alice Huang’s goal was to convince Jensen to lobby the U.S. government to loosen export controls on advanced AI chips. (NYT)
- The intelligence community relayed this information to “a small group of top US government officials” earlier this year. (FT)
- Over the last year, Jensen Huang has repeatedly lobbied the U.S. government to loosen export controls on advanced chips. @BISgov has done so, not only by permitting the export of H200 chips to China, but also not enforcing export controls that would have required a license for exports of the most advanced Blackwell chips to Megaspeed and Southeast Asia.
- Although @CommerceGov leadership was presumably briefed on this information by the U.S. intelligence community, @BISgov has taken no actions to tighten controls on Megaspeed or Southeast Asia.
- Megaspeed remains a preferred cloud partner of Nvidia, and continues to receive Nvidia Blackwell chips despite employing a Chinese spy who reportedly is romantically engaged with the CEO of Nvidia.
- Tens of billions of dollars worth of AI chips have been exported to Southeast Asia this year alone, and Malaysia and Singapore are now two of the four largest importers of AI chips in the world.
What is going on here??? We need answers. The question of who gets the most advanced AI chips in the world is literally the defining strategic question of our time. And not only does it seem like the MSS may be directly influencing the debate on export controls in the United States, but also @CommerceGov is refusing to listen to the warnings of the IC on this issue. What is a POSSIBLE good explanation for why Megaspeed is still receiving chips? Why is there not a license requirement for AI chip shipments to all of Southeast Asia? This is beyond strange at this point.
The fallout from this story will be massive. Obviously, the motivations underpinning Nvidia’s policy views opposing export controls must now all be questioned. But also, how did @BISgov sit on this information and has still taken no actions? We need answers.

The nation has been left stunned after a man who got a tax payer-funded BBC chauffeur to pick up his 16-year-old girlfriend from school when he was 29 years old has turned out to be a rapist. I mean where were the signs?
The man in question is attempted comedian Russell Brand—someone who mysteriously carved out a TV and movie career despite not being remotely funny or likeable. If you don’t know who I’m talking about, Brand is the one who always looks like he’s pissing on railway lines. Yes, he’s the ex-husband of the first woman to take a joy ride in space!
Brand ended his marriage to Katy Perry when the allegations against him first emerged. He then became a Youtuber so he could convince people that the eventual court case was an establishment stitch up. This argument would’ve been more convincing if he’d found a single person to defend his character in court.
Brand conveniently discovered that he loved Jesus and started carrying a Bible everywhere he went. This was definitely not for the cameras. He was interviewed by Piers Morgan who asked him which Bible passages were most meaningful to him. Unfortunately, he couldn’t answer. At least he’ll have plenty of time to spend with his booky wook in prison.
Brand actually thought he was gonna be redemeed, saying he could “feel God’s presence” while walking into court. He told his social media followers the prayers seemed to be working. Unfortunately for him, God doesn’t like rapists any more than the jury did.
After falling silent while the prosecution cross-examined him on why he kept groping women without their consent, and forcing himself on them, he was convicted of rape and three counts of sexual assault. This came as a huge surprise to everyone who’d looked the other way for the past 25 years.
Brand will no doubt be delighted to find that many prison inmates share his disregard for consent. I’m sure he won’t object if his big strong cellmate decides he just can’t help himself.
Brand’s sex crimes were so well-known that his fellow comedians called him out on stage for years before the law caught up with him. It’s not like he kept any of this a secret. He bragged about his rapes and sexual assaults in a book that reached number 1 in the Sunday Times best sellers list and was widely praised by critics. He was declared Shagger of the Year three times by the Sun newspaper.
His management enrolled him in a sex addiction clinic where he was asked to draw up a list of all the women he’d wronged. He compared the process to Saddam Hussein being asked about individual kurds he’d killed. In a follow-up memoir, he wrote of his time in the “nicky wick”, “If this is what I’m telling you, can you imagine what’s being left out?”
Brand was so confident of his crimes that he laughed on the radio about how he indecently exposed himself to women. He even offered to send his naked assistant to one man during an interview—the man in question was Sir Jimmy Saville.
Brand caused a public outcry in 2008 when he called 78-year-old Andrew Sachs for his BBC Radio 2 show with Jonathan Woss. The incident was pre-recorded and producers decided it was fine to air. During the call, Brand said, “I shagged your granddaughter”, made a mock apology to Sachs, and then suggested he commit suicide.
Since humiliating old people counts as entertainment in the UK, both men continued to have successful TV careers and Brand even starred in a couple of terrible Hollywood movies. It’s funny how rapists fail upwards, isn’t it?
Brand is just the latest in a long line of people to follow the proud BBC tradition of sexual offences. They include Sir Jimmy Saville, Rolf Harris CBE, Stuart Hall OBE, Huw Edwards MBE, Chris Denning, and Tim Westwood. You’ll be pleased to know the BBC did their utmost to shelter these men for years until the law caught up with them. Aren’t you glad you’re forced to pay your licence fee?

This narcissistic villain and rapist not only takes over a woman’s interview to make himself “the adored rogue” but when she takes it back to discuss herself and her experiences he deliberately advances on her space. He can’t bear not being acknowledged by her and moves his arm closer and points his body at her. He is MUCH too close and he knows it. It is done to belittle and subdue her.
Many, many women have had a man do this with his body and we always know what that man is and what he has the potential to do.

I wrote this post just over a year ago when I discovered that Farage had failed to declare any outside income for five months.
We're in an identical position now, one year later.
The last declaration in his Register of Interests is from the 20th of April — six months ago.
Those three declarations covered his, at the time, recent buy in to Kwasi Kwarteng's crypto platform, Slack BTC and a donation of £1,749 from entrepreneur, Avi Lasarow.
In 2025 the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards, Daniel Greenberg, established that Farage had failed to register 17 interests within the required 28-day deadline.
Why is he now pulling the same trick?
Does Farage truly believe himself to be above the law and outside of the rules of his employment?
Farage is not declaring his income.
Why has Farage not been declaring his private security on his Register of Interests? There is no declaration of a gift or donation of private security.
The article says it costs £1 MILLION per year for this security, but nothing has been declared.
MPs have 28 days in which to register any financial donations on their Parliamentary register, but Farage's last entry to the Register was actually back in May.
So we're being led to believe that the man, who earns a million pounds a year from his outside work, just stopped earning in May?
This stinks.
His most recent declaration was on 31st May 2025 for £26,817.60 for 12 hours of work at GB News. That's £2,234.80 per hour, by the way. Man of the people, my behind!
But the more pressing matter is, what happened to his earnings since May?
Is this hubris? Is he trying to get caught out to launch another 'woe is me, everyone hates me' campaign?
Diligent Lee Anderson has declarations coming in on the 8th of September, like a good boy.
Farage has just halted his declarations.
So what are we to take from this? Unclear. But what is clear-cut, is that somebody in Parliament/the media should have spotted this and be investigating. It's a potentially very serious breach of the Code of Conduct and could/should lead to a suspension.
Also, I find it strange that @Telegraph had un-paywalled this article. I assume it has been paid for by Reform.
