It’s just nine days until @AlabamaMBB tips off its season on Nov. 3, and today we remember former Crimson Tide star Jim Bogan, a member of the “Rocket Eight” that finished 21-3 overall, 14-0 in the SEC during the 1955-56 season. Bogan played center and graduated in 1957.

It’s just 10 days until @AlabamaMBB tips off its season on Nov. 3, and today we remember Crimson Tide legend Charles Cleveland, who played prep ball at Bibb County High School. Cleveland became the first Alabama player to be selected All-SEC three consecutive years.

This is for @Matt_Graham23 who appreciates out-of-context stats like we do. After three exhibitions, how would @AlabamaMBB compare statistically to prior seasons under @nate_oats😉? First in PPG, FG%, APG (with no PGs) and SPG. Second in 3PG%, BLK. Third in RPG. Last in FT%, TO.

It’s just 11 days until @AlabamaMBB tips off its season on Nov. 3, and today we remember Ray Odums, who joined the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame this past year. Odums was an All-SEC player and member of the first all-black starting basketball lineup in SEC history on Dec. 28, 1973.
Lost a @SEC basketball legend today. RIP Coach Brown.
Daddy Dale Brown - LSU legendary basketball coach - has died.

Why did I mock Amari Allen so high?
Because he would have been a first-round pick a year ago and has a major opportunity in front of him this season. cbssports.com/nba/news/2027-…
Season 2 is coming. 🏀
New look. New approach. Same @AlabamaMBB conversation.
We learned a few things during the offseason. 😏

Honorable Mention to #11 James Jackson (sorry for picture quality…it was 40 years ago) who banked in a 3 over Dwayne Schintzius to send the SEC clinching game v UF to Overtime.

The assist number is crazy given we are playing without our PGs. Kudos to the guys who have assumed that role so far.

INSTANT REACTION
@AlabamaMBB 87,
@AuburnMBB 85
It may have been an exhibition but it felt like a regional final. Amari Allen does not like Auburn and we love him for that.

It’s a special “after dark” episode of @lockedon_bama as @LSRobinson21 and @msouthern17 recap the “exhibition” win by @AlabamaMBB over @AuburnMBB

If this team doesn’t improve FT% I’m pretty sure I’m gonna tear my rotator cuff throwing all 12 of my remotes at the TV before the season ends.
