This is devastating. I met Eric last year. I was going to a movie at my local theater and he was there signing posters for an animated short called "Bullet Time" in which he voiced the lead. I had no idea, at the time, that he was basically the modern day Mel Blanc and the voice of nearly every Looney Tunes character.
He called my wife and I over to his table and started doing Bugs impressions for us, then asked if we wanted a poster. He proceeded to run through, like, 5 different voices. We had a good laugh and told him how great he was at them and he goes "Yeah! I'm Bugs!" and laughed with us as our jaws hit the floor. Of course, he was!
I was so taken by how humble and generous Eric was with his time. He seemed to love what he did so much. Man, this sucks. What a loss. I'm glad our paths crossed even for that brief moment.

finished Mina the Hollower so i had to draw her riding the iron steed in a werdly sunny day at Ossex.
i know now that the iron steed haves a build in.... cowcatcher but my original interpretation of the sprites was her using the umbrella as a jousting lance. so i stick with it.

Major Miner, Fiancé, and Bone Miner concepts for #MinaTheHollower.
The first Miner sketch came out of the early drafts for the Bone Beach panorama. These later drawings were made to push the design further and explore what the creatures might be.
Originally, I imagined them a bit like the Dwarves in The Lord of the Rings, with both men and women sporting beards and looking fairly similar. I also played with more pronounced sexual dimorphism, making the women noticeably larger than the men.
@Bandygrass later described them as asexual creatures that simply pop out of the ground, so what they actually are is still pretty open to interpretation.
