Passerby: “More bullsh!t” lol 😂
"You have to loot. You really have to smash things to change the world." A Paris man told me he's "200, 300%" behind October 17, the "student protests" that turned into a violent riot. Then a passerby walked by and summed it up in three words. 🎥👇

🏠 Home is supposed to be a place of safety - not a place where a brother terrorizes and extorts his own sister for years. Rabih Kassis, 45, has been charged with: 👉 theft over $5,000 👉 fraud over $5,000 👉 conspiracy 👉 uttering threats 👉 criminal harassment 👉 extortion This is a very sad story. 😔

“What IS Carney negotiating on Canadians’ behalf?” Fair question.
🚨 EU PARLIAMENT ERUPTS 🚨 🇩🇪 A German MEP warns Canada could become a “living hell.” 📄 We obtained the draft statement circulated by Canada. 🇨🇦 Europe held a dedicated debate. Where’s ours? What is Carney negotiating on Canadians’ behalf? Watch below 👇

No way. Di Rienzo’s is for sale? Every cop in this city has been through those doors many, many times. Had the best sandwiches in Ottawa for a long time. Hope whoever buys it keeps the tradition alive. @OttawaPolice @OTTAWAPAca

Quote of the day: “Never attribute malice where stupidity will do just fine.”
Replying to @SA_the_GC
Never attribute malice where stupidity will do just fine. I think these are a bunch of Liberals who came to power, they found a balanced budget after a decade of Conservative rule, and just started spending. And here we are.

Every Canadian needs to understand how close we came to defaulting in the 1990s. The era was one of Liberal taxes and program cuts. This is a serious problem that we’re going to have to deal with, even if we don’t like it.

C’mon, seriously? Almost half a BILLION in bogus dental claims just… waived. Like, no repayment? Nothing? I don’t even know why I bother reposting this stuff anymore. You can give endless facts to the left and it won’t move the needle one inch. The evidence is irrelevant if it doesn’t fit their narrative. “The government has no money, it all comes from you.” 🫵 - MP Bonk @StevenBonkMP At some point they will run out of OUR MONEY. And then what happens? @MarjoriePLC
Minister @MarjoriePLC writes off nearly half billion for people who cheated @GovCanHealth dental plan. Feds to date won't explain why program went 80% over budget: 'It represents an amount up to $434.8 million."  blacklocks.ca/bogus-claims-c… #cdnopoli

They. Just. Won’t. Stop. Spending. 🤯 Grab a coffee, have a seat - this is 10 minutes well spent. “The government has no money, it all comes from you.” 🫵 Another excellent video by @StevenBonkMP.
Since 2015, the Liberals have spent more than every other government in Canadian history COMBINED. What's really scary is that all that borrowing was done at extremely low interest rates, and now those bonds are rolling over into new, and more expensive, debt. That's not stopping Mark Carney. He's spending more, and faster, than at any time outside of World War II and COVID. The combination of massive deficits and a large national debt, with ever-increasing costs to service that debt, is a genuine threat to the economic future of this country. We've seen this all before too. Guess who pays when the bill comes due? You.

“Order and public safety are necessary conditions for freedom.” 💯
I’ve increasingly come to worry about the rise of “judicial nihilism” (for lack of a better term) in Canada. We have a justice system that spends enormous energy considering the personal circumstances of offenders, their rights, identities, mental health, and prospects for rehabilitation. Yet it seems unconcerned with the victims whose lives have been destroyed, or the public that must live with the consequences when dangerous individuals repeatedly reoffend. I think we need to take judicial reform more seriously, rather than dismissing concerns about overreach and malfeasance as conservative fearmongering. The more I look at recent cases (many highlighted by @sarkonakj) the more concerned I become that our institutions are losing sight of some basic moral values in justice. I’ve been thinking about the principles that should guide us to a more liberal, rules-based approach to criminal justice (I’ll admit that this is hardly new thinking, but I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen them laid out): 1. Justice should begin with victims, whose suffering should never become secondary to the circumstances of offenders. 2. Protecting the public from dangerous individuals must be a central responsibility of sentencing, and we should lean towards caution. 3. Punishment must be a meaningful deterrent and reflect the gravity of crimes. Some crimes warrant permanent imprisonment (if not capital punishment). Some crimes are so heinous that the mere prospect of rehabilitation should not be considered. 4. Repeat offenders should face dramatically greater consequences, including long-term incarceration or asylum to protect society. Nobody with dozens of separate criminal convictions should be roaming freely. 5. Mental illness should determine treatment and facility type, not reduce punishment. The bar for criminal non-responsibility should also be much higher than it is today. 6. Sentencing must apply to those convicted equally, based on actions and responsibility, not race, religion, cultural identity, immigration status etc. The rule of law should be non-discriminatory, the right time to address the “root causes” of crime and pursue social justice is before crime is committed. 7. Parliament needs to figure out how to reclaim its authority, with courts exercising much greater restraint in constitutional interpretations. 8. Judicial “independence” must be balanced with meaningful accountability for serious failures and overreach. The judiciary is not supreme to legislature. I worry that too many political leaders have become uncomfortable defending the very concepts of order, punishment and personal responsibility, as though doing so is somehow incompatible with liberal moral values. They aren’t. A liberal democracy has two fundamental obligations. To protect people from the arbitrary exercise of government power, and to protect them from the violence and predation of others. We cannot fulfill one by neglecting the other. They are together the necessary preconditions for liberty. When the public sees rulings that seem fundamentally disconnected from shared expectations of right and wrong, it erodes trust in the system. Order and public safety are necessary conditions for freedom. The freedom to walk down the street, take public transit, operate a business or simply live peacefully in your own home means little if the government cannot protect you from disorder, violence and criminality. It’s often those with the fewest resources who suffer most when that protection fails. If we want Canadians to have faith in the rule of law, they need to believe that it applies equally, that serious wrongdoing carries serious consequences, that dangerous people will not repeatedly be allowed to victimize others, and that the system will not be careless with the lives and suffering of victims.

1 in 3 Canadians are borrowing money just to cover their basic expenses! Meanwhile, Lena Diab's IRCC casually budgets $4.4 billion for immigration for a country already buckling under their shitty leadership. This party is a coven of vampires.

Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent was targeted and murdered in a terrorist attack because he was a Canadian soldier. Full stop. This was no mere "hit and run". It’s unforgivable the Liberal government is minimizing the sacrifices made by our Armed Forces who put on the uniform in service to country and risk their lives everyday to protect all of us. Lest we forget.
