Hey @Grok, if Canada continues down its current political and economic path, what will be the single biggest consequence for future generations? What should Canadians be most concerned about right now? Be brutally honest. Short answer.

🚨 BREAKING: The Supreme Court of Canada will hear the federal government’s appeal over its invocation of the Emergencies Act.
Two levels of court. Four judges. All found that the federal government acted outside its legal authority.
Yet the government has decided to spend more taxpayers’ money fighting those rulings, all the way to the Supreme Court.
When this began with extraordinary emergency powers used against citizens protesting government policy, we really have to question what the government is spending public money to defend: the public interest, or its own power to silence political opposition?
What is the value to Canadians? What is the point? How does this serve the public?
Why must citizens spend years paying to challenge government overreach in court, while also funding the government’s lawyers through their taxes? Why is it so hard for government to respect people’s rights and do the right thing in the first place? How is any of this reasonable or fair?
Canadians are left paying both sides of a legal battle that should never have been necessary. Imagine if the government put that same effort and those resources into serving the public.
Doesn’t that sound nice?!

Since 2015, the Liberals have spent more than every other government in Canadian history COMBINED.
What's really scary is that all that borrowing was done at extremely low interest rates, and now those bonds are rolling over into new, and more expensive, debt.
That's not stopping Mark Carney. He's spending more, and faster, than at any time outside of World War II and COVID.
The combination of massive deficits and a large national debt, with ever-increasing costs to service that debt, is a genuine threat to the economic future of this country.
We've seen this all before too. Guess who pays when the bill comes due? You.

The Liberal Foreign Minister has some exciting news!
This Liberal government is spending $7.8 million taxpayer money on an affordable housing project.
Unfortunately for Canadians struggling to afford a home in this Liberal housing crisis, the project is in....the Dominican Republic.
The Carney Liberals always find money to send overseas instead of finding savings for Canadians here at home.

France is being looted.
Businesses destroyed.
There’s violent unrest.
They’re burning 150 year old buildings that survived 2 world wars.
And yet, they have no plans to invoke emergency powers.
The Liberals did.
Illegally.
Against truckers who did NONE of these things.

Andrew was born into wealth.
This family wealth traces all the way back to the 1850s.
Andy's father is a former BoC governor (𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝘂𝗽 "𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘆𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿" - totally explains Andy's hatred of the 🇺🇸).
Private high school.
Prestigious alma maters (LSoE).
He's even related to Justin Trudeau.
Dude isn't just soft.
He's sawft.
Humans need purpose and when you're born without a NEED for purpose...
...you might be inclined to search for it in the wrong places.
And that's why Andy finds himself writing the pablum you see in the post below.
He's never had to build a life for himself - the good life was waiting for him on a silver platter before he was even conceived.
The same can be said for the Jason Kenneys, Scott Reids, Bruce Andersons and Kory Teneyckes.
None of these guys had to struggle to build their careers...
...to build professional networks
...refine their skill sets
...and build a future for their kids.
And yet, this is who is running the show in Canada.
And given that their influence is now inextricably linked to Canada's central nervous system...
...the only viable option citizens have to break free of this is to break up Canada.
It really is the only viable option.
They'll never walk away from the spoils willingly.

ANDREW COYNE FINDS PUTTING CANADIANS FIRST OFFENSIVE!
@acoyne thinks it’s SAD that conservatives wants training programs and jobs to go to Canadians FIRST.
What an unbelievably stupid thing to say.
With unemployment on the rise (over 100,000 jobs lost in the last 2 months) and young Canadians struggling to find work, the idea that Canadians should have first dibs at training programs and jobs in their own country
Is somehow offensive or sad?
Message for Andrew Coyne:
This isn’t just a conservative position. It’s about fairness, opportunity and putting Canadians first.
What’s truly sad and pathetic, is you dismissing the concerns of Canadians who are struggling to find work and build a life in their own country.
Shame on you Andrew. Shame on you.

Allison Inquiry: The Anatomy of a Silent Coup
(Jason Digger)
It was not a failure of the system; it was the system working as designed. Every element—media, policy, and enforcement—moved in perfect lockstep to protect the crime.
In September 2026, a quiet but extraordinary event unfolded in the Wellington Building on Parliament Hill. For four days, Conservative MP Dean Allison, acting without official government sanction, held an independent inquiry to listen to the stories of Canadians who were injured by COVID-19 vaccines.
This was not a formal commission with the power to compel testimony or subpoena documents. It was, in Allison’s words, an attempt “to begin a conversation that should’ve begun years ago.”
While the personal stories of the 50 witnesses who came forward were heartbreaking, the true alarm of the Allison Inquiry was sounded not by their suffering, but by the chilling testimony of a handful of experts and the stark, corroborating pattern of institutional failure that surrounded them.
When viewed together, a series of what officials would dismiss as coincidences begins to look less like chance and more like design—a perfect storm of data manipulation, altered policy, and alleged corruption that targeted the very foundations of Canadian society.

Is every single policy and overreaching decision in Canada decided & pushed by bought and paid for polls?
~Well we got nanos to call 1000 people and we got the result we expected, now tell the media to bring nanos on and confirm the majority of Canadians want to join the EU
~get Leger on the phone, we need them to make a poll saying 105% of Canadians love Carney so we can keep being useless and loved at the same time
~call Angus Reid, we are about to give Ukraine another couple billion, we need a poll that says the majority of Canadians would give them every last dime if they could.
We are being manipulated people. The examples I wrote are obviously meant to be humorous, but what our Government and media are doing to Canadians is anything but.

David Eby: "I hope that British Columbians see what we've been doing."
What David Eby's government has been doing:
- Blew a surplus and racked up a $13.8 billion deficit
- Doubled B.C.’s debt to $180 billion and called it leadership
- Lost $1.5 billion because someone dragged a formula across a spreadsheet
- Called an expensive election 2 years early despite already having a majority
- Promised a $1,000 grocery cheque, then yeeted it
- Swore safer-supply drugs weren’t hitting the street
- Got caught in your lie: taxpayer opioids were being flipped by gangs
- Tried to hand over 94% of Crown land in the dark
- Let a court put Aboriginal title on private land in Richmond
- Left Richmond owners wondering if they even own their house
- Parked mines and logging behind closed-door consent deals
- Halted hospital and care-home builds after the money was already spent
- Watched violent crime jump 31.7% and still did the “safer province” bit
- Let open drug use explode into the suburbs
Shall I continue?

I have lived on this earth in excess of 60
Years. Never during that time have I seen a greater master of deception than our current Prime Minister!
His grand announcements, economic numbers, MOU’s and fiscal projections all amplified by a bought and paid for state media machine.
All the while Canada is being sold off, resource industries kneecapped, armed forces gutted, manufacturing decimated.
Go back 11 years, is Canada better off today? Are you better off today? Go back 18 months, is Canada better off today? Are you better off today?
Inflation rising
Debt spiralling
Deficits doubling
Corruption rampant
Conflict of interest commonplace
Truth twisted
Media complicit
Accountability nonexistent
Transparency absent
Integrity missing
Wake up Canada, our nation cannot sustain this blatant abuse at the hands of our so called leaders.
An house of cards built by a master of deception has but one destiny, rubble!

I am NOT about to be lectured by Lindsay Clancy's attorney. Reddington's entire job is to make sure three dead children never get the last word.
He spent 50 years at the Massachusetts bar, then asked the President for a federal pardon in a state murder case. Doesn't get any dumber than that.
Mr. Reddington is right that I've never sat in his courtroom. Neither will Cora, Dawson, or Callan. That's the point.
Lindsay Clancy Attorney Kevin Reddington responds to @NancyMace comments that Clancy should be publicly executed:
“Nancy Mace does not know this case, has never seen the evidence, and has never sat in that courtroom. Lindsay Clancy has not been convicted of anything, and Massachusetts has not had a death penalty in more than forty years. A congresswoman from South Carolina calling for a public execution is not law. It is a stunt, and its only purpose is to inflame the public against a woman whose case is still before the Court. I will deal with that in court, not on television. My client was a mother suffering from postpartum psychosis. That is what this case is about, and that is where my attention stays."
