I sincerely believe that this whole blurb—names and all—is made up. #halp
Ouch, but also yes, and also *breathe into paper bag and stress-eat chicken fingers*
Uhh, huge. Welcome to Madison, Ellie! Big admirer of her work in our beloved Nashville/Franklin.
Ellie Westman currently serves as President and CEO for Visit Franklin, just south of Nashville, Tennessee, and helped bring NFL and NHL teams to Nashville.  She will succeed Deb Archer, who retired at the end of 2020. madison.com/business/nashvil…
If you’re a lefty Christian & looking for a good, short podcast to remind you of the things that right wingers can’t ruin about the faith, I highly recommend “Learning How to See” from @CACRadicalGrace, hosted by @brianmclaren. A soothing salve for the progressive faithful.
Some days I wake up with all the creative inspiration I could ever need. Some days I don’t, and it just takes the full 12-minute mega-mix of @RealMeatLoaf’s “I Would Do Anything for Love (But I Won’t Do That). I don’t make the rules, I just abide by them.

Which is to say, “Some days it don’t come easy; and Some days it don’t come hard. Some days it don’t come at all and these are the days that never end.”

Perhaps you’d like to see 2 fully-realized business plans or 3 complete new product mock-ups I’ve completed this semester while 2 final papers and 1 final project sit as-yet-unfinished?

Have used him for another recent question like this, but hands down Jeff Buckley.
Name a musician who died far too soon, and who you think would’ve remained great into their later years. My pick is Bob Marley.
It’s really shameful. Same thing happened @floridastate. How are grad student workers supposed to teach and learn well while paying for the privilege to work?

QTing myself to say: those of us who’re neuro-divergent are REALLY struggling to learn in a completely OL env that has NO environmental cues to signal routine. I have 5 WONDERFUL profs at @UWMadison who all use Canvas slightly diff’tly & diff video platforms & it kicks my 🍑.
Even those of us who appear to be keeping it together are only barely doing so. Please don’t choose this semester to gatekeep your institution’s “reputation” by pretending everything’s normal.
