1/ About a month ago @githib has indefinitely suspended an account of one of @beamprivacy maintainers - @maxnflaxl for allegedly violating Terms of Service. No explanation beyond that was given.
2/ Whatever the reason is, it does not seem to be related to any activity within BeamMW organization. According to their rules, he is not allowed to create a new account to continue working on the project

“only possible on Zano…”
Wrong. @BeamPrivacy has been doing that for years.
And not only dumb tokens to be distributed by hand, but full smart contracts too!
The private Ethereum is Beam. 😉

My @github account has now been suspended since the 24th. I expected the Github support to be able to quickly tell me what happened and reinstate my account, but no. Silence.
The first ticket was actually closed before I could even reply and no reply on the second.

It's a real rollercoaster of a ride when you receive notices that you're eligible for a data breach settlement payout... 😒
Then when you get to the instructions for claiming the payout, you realize you gave the service provider a fake identity because you're a cypherpunk. 😎

Does any of it violate copyright? According to Anthropic itself, their devs do not write any code by hand. As far as I know, AI-generated code is not copyrightable under US law. So correct me if I'm wrong, but you should not be able to use the DMCA to take down this code, right?

Israel's intelligence is next-level:
4 IRGC commanders in Lebanon tried to hide. They booked 15 hotel rooms under false names, and used only 1 room. They disabled all hotel security cameras.
All 4 were killed today with a single missile to their room. No hotel guest was harmed.

we don't have a marketing budget.
we don't have VC investors.
we don't have token allocations or insider deals.
we don't have a company behind us.
we have conviction.
we found a mimblewimble chain that does what bitcoin promised but could not deliver -- real financial privacy. and we decided to build for it. for free.
no salary. no equity. no airdrop for ourselves.
just code, a wallet, and the belief that privacy is a right worth fighting for.
people ask "why would anyone build for free?" and honestly that question tells you everything about what is wrong with crypto right now.
satoshi did not have a pitch deck. the early bitcoin contributors did not have token vesting schedules.
they just saw something that mattered and showed up.
that is us. cypherpunks write code. we wrote a wallet.
