🚨 DAVID MOYES ON CHELSEA, COLE PALMER AND TODAY’S CONTROVERSIAL REFEREEING DECISIONS! 🗣️“Honestly, I have a serious problem with some of the decisions we saw today. When you play against a team like Chelsea, you expect the referee to be fair to both sides, but some of the challenges and decisions left me asking questions. “Let’s talk about Cole Palmer’s challenge on my player. For me, that was a very dangerous challenge, and I believe the referee should have taken a much closer look at it. When a player makes a challenge of that nature, you cannot simply wave play on and pretend nothing happened. These are the moments that can change a game, and the consequences could be serious for the player on the receiving end. “People will say it is part of football, but there must be a standard. If the same challenge had been made by one of my players against a Chelsea player, would we be having a different conversation right now? That is the question people need to ask. “And Palmer was not the only incident that raised concerns. We also saw Morgan Rogers make a challenge that deserved serious scrutiny. Yet, once again, there was no red card. “So, what exactly is the standard here? Are we judging challenges by how dangerous they are, or are we allowing certain incidents to pass because of the circumstances surrounding the game? “I don’t want to accuse anybody of deliberately favouring one team without evidence, but I will say this: the officials must be consistent. Football cannot operate with one standard for one team and another standard for the opposition. “What frustrates me most is that these decisions can completely change the atmosphere of a match. Players become frustrated, managers are forced to react, and supporters are left wondering whether the same rules are being applied to everybody. “Chelsea are a big club with quality players, and nobody is denying that. But being a big club should not mean that controversial decisions automatically go your way. Every team deserves the same protection from the referee. “If a Chelsea player deserves a red card, show the red card. If an Everton player deserves one, show it to him as well. It really is that simple. “At the end of the day, we can talk about tactics, possession and individual quality all we want, but the officials also have a responsibility to ensure that the game is played fairly. “My concern is not about making excuses. My concern is about consistency, because that is what every manager expects when he sends his players onto the pitch. “If we want people to respect the Premier League, we must be able to trust that the rules are being applied equally, regardless of the badge on the shirt.”

Colin Vearncombe composed "Wonderful Life" in just 10 minutes in one of the worst periods of life: divorce, two car accidents, a sick mother, with no home and almost no money. The title "Wonderful Life" is totally ironic, Colin was being sarcastic about the "wonderful" life, but the audience interpreted it as positive. First released in 1986 on Ugly Man Records, it reached #72 on the UK Singles Chart. Re-released in August 1987 by A&M (after the hit "Sweetest Smile"), and was a worldwide hit: #8 on the UK Singles Chart, #1 in Austria, #2 in Germany, France and Switzerland, #7 in Australia and top 10 in several European countries.

Hey @Everton Any chance that you can grow a pair, and fuck these massive red sponsors off on our electronic board during the games? Most EFC fans don't even own anything red!! That wanky colour should never ever be on display during an EFC match. Read the room @friedkingroup

They need to stop this nonsense now. Everton have just had a perfectly good goal disallowed by VAR. If you have any feel for the game, when you see the replay, you will struggle to find the offence. Said it before, will say it again: they are actively looking to disallow goals.

Some photo to have, that. The sort of thing every one of us would have framed on the mantelpiece if it was us and our team.

"It's contagious, and it always will be, playing for Everton" What a quote that is 🥲🥲
🗣️ "Words can't describe how I feel right now!" It's safe to say that Ainsley Maitland-Niles was happy with his debut goal 🤩

I wonder why @talkSPORT have deleted this? Have they been told by @prorefofficial to take it down? 🤔 We all saw what a joke the decision was. VAR will be ‘Light touch’ according to Webb!

Fans turned Goodison into a cauldron, fans endured relegation scraps, decades without silverware. Fans that created the product that TV chased. Raising season tickets 10% above inflation, while admitting it’s not strictly necessary isn’t smart business. It’s shortsighted greed.

#MUNIPS - 58” We managed to find an anomaly in the rules which meant that this was not a handball, and therefore allow the goal. Don’t expect us to do this in the future for your team though

#EFC Everton is not just a business... It is emotional... It is who we are... We live it every single day... You have to run it as a company... We understand that... But if you tear out the beating heart... the homegrown players, the manager who gets it, the connection that keeps people coming back... then Everton as we know it is gone... You have three days left in this window... Get this decision right, or you won’t just lose the fans... You’ll damage the very asset you bought... IN MOYES WE TRUST @friedkingroup @ALANMYERSMEDIA @joe_thomas18 @BargeTours

📣📣📣 1878s STATEMENT 📣📣📣 First and foremost the 7 of us in this group are fans, fans who spend our hard earned money to follow our team home and away like many others. We are nothing else, just fans like everyone else who wants the best for our football club. We are an independent group, who have developed a good relationship with the club over the years. However, it doesn’t mean to say that we agree with every decision the club makes and in this situation we certainly don’t. The potential sale of Harrison Armstrong goes against everything our fanbase stands for, a young talented scouser who is the future of our club. Should the sale of Harrison Armstrong go ahead, as a group of blues who all do this in our spare time for free, have full time jobs & children. It has been decided, as a group, that we will be standing down for the foreseeable future and will not be dedicating a huge amount of our own time to put together the displays that we do that try and generate the best pre match atmosphere possible. We do not feel right now that our fanbase’s ambition and clubs ambition align. When we design flags, there are rules and regulations that we have to adhere to regarding the wording on our flags during displays, we are not allowed derogatory or offensive wording or images. If we were able to get a load of flags in the ground to show our feelings of discontent, disappointment & anger over this whole situation, believe us, we would, but this is something that simply wouldn’t be allowed. We still urge fans to get behind our team on the pitch and sing our hearts out for 90 mins like we did yesterday at Bournemouth. We will support any actions taken by our fans regarding this. Our motto ‘Nil Satis Nisi Optimum’ is the standard we expect!
