The concept of anarcho-tyranny, coined by political theorist Samuel Francis, describes a paradoxical condition where the state is both oppressively authoritarian and functionally anarchic. Here's how that contradiction plays out: 🎯 Core Purpose of Anarcho-Tyranny Suppress the law-abiding: The "tyranny" component targets innocent citizens—those who follow the law—through excessive regulation, surveillance, or punishment. Examples include asset seizure laws, mandatory ideological training, and prosecution of self-defense. Neglect basic public duties: The "anarchy" side reflects the state's failure or refusal to enforce laws against actual criminals. Violent offenders may go unpunished, while public safety deteriorates. Control through fear and confusion: By criminalizing everyday behavior while tolerating lawlessness, anarcho-tyranny creates a climate of uncertainty and fear. Citizens may feel powerless, unsure of what laws will be enforced or ignored. Punish non-compliance, not wrongdoing: Francis argued that the real purpose of the tyranny is to punish those who resist ideological conformity or challenge state narratives—not necessarily those who commit crimes. 🧠 Philosophical Framing Francis described anarcho-tyranny as a kind of Hegelian synthesis—a fusion of opposites where oppressive control and chaotic neglect coexist. It’s not just bad governance; it’s a deliberate system that undermines trust, liberty, and justice. Would you like to explore how this concept applies to modern security systems or political theory? I think your background could make for a sharp critique.

🚨🚨 THE ILLEGITIMACY PLAYBOOK / THE DEMOCRACY FILES: A PRIMER 🚨 I will be using this thread to track all drops, so bookmark it. I spent most of yesterday backing everything (now 312 gigabytes) up in various sources and getting the materials out to others. I also produced an AI video (below) to explain the whole thing to others are not on 𝕏 - feel free to distribute. Here's the primer: USAID, the foreign aid agency, had a democracy office. Inside the agency, it was called DRG. Officially, DRG administered "democracy assistance." They'd go inside countries they thought were sliding into authoritarianism and help the opposition there. That assistance included election monitoring, judicary support, independent media, and civil society building. You may have heard the term "color revolution." The model comes from Serbia in 2000, where trained student activists brought down Milosevic with the help of Western governments, after sustained protests. With the help of USAID's democracy office, this model was implemented in many other countries to topple governments: Georgia's "Rose Revolution" in 2003, Ukraine's "Orange Revolution" in 2004, and many more. Then last year, DOGE shut down USAID. But the USAID democracy office didn't stop. They formed a group called the Democracy Renewal Group, the same initials as their office (USAID Democracy, Human Rights, Governance). Their goal: apply their own playbook to the United States itself. This goal became a plan, called Renew American Democracy (RAD). It invoked the "4 B's" framework. Block - use lawfare and protests to make life harder for the Trump administration. Bridge & Belong - control dialogue and win people over. The final and most important B is Build. Build means redesigning the American government itself, and the crisis is the opening. In their own words: "We can take that breakdown moment and leverage it for a big structural reform, you know, refounding moment." - Danielle Reiff, DRG lead. Calls show DRG working alongside DSA on ideas of creating a different government, one that does away with the Constitution itself. DRG does not run the Block operations. They hand it to UDA, the United Democracy Alliance. One organizer calls it a "huge galaxy": lawsuits, street protests, non-cooperation. They list No Kings, Indivisible, MoveOn, 50501, and many other mega-activist NGOs among their members. Another organizer calls UDA Erica Chenoweth's project. Chenoweth is the Harvard professor behind the three-and-half-percent rule of regime change: get that share of a country's populace onto the streets, and historically, the movement wins. The UDA is very "hush-hush." They have no website, no roster, no filings. Then come the red lines: things the Trump administration could do, such as calling the Insurrection Act on protesters, that would mean that the federal government, in their words, "crosses the threshold into illegitimacy." Nobody voted on those lines. There was no public debate. These red lines were developed within secretive working groups, and in a paper addressed to governors and staff. In the words of Reiff/DRG: "So that if there is a red line crossed in terms of a Constitutional crisis, like everyone's already pre-organized. And so Mike Smith actually said, he goes, oh, you guys have the day after tomorrow plan." Cross a line, and the paper's options include states refusing to lend their resources to federal officials, and governors convening what it calls a "Third Continential Congress." Running the UDA's Insurrection Act working group: Rear Admiral Mike Smith (RET) of National Security Leaders of America (NSL4A). NSL4A is also credited with operationalizing UDA, the blocking operations. NSL4A consists of about 1,600 ex-officers, spies, diplomats. They're turning red lines into indicators and running a situation room to monitor them throughout the midterms and beyond. The NSL4A's lawyers told them to stop recording meetings in case of subpoenas. But the rest of the network continued to record. DRG works in conjunction with Renew to Thrive (R2T), which ended up accidentally publishing 400+ calls and thousands of documents. These calls and documents were never meant for our eyes, but it's them, on tape. Thousands of NGOs and billions of dollars are involved in this endeavor. Most of them believe they're saving democracy. The problem is that people who spent their careers deciding when other countries' governments had lost their legitimacy wrote that test for ours, in private, and planned for what comes after. Who decides when your government is legitimate?

Alors pardon. Et au travail.

🚨 Florida GOP: Have you lost your minds? Imtiaz Mohammad, a Pakistani-American Muslim, former Democrat, and founder of the American Muslim Progressive Caucus, is now YOUR Republican nominee for Florida House District 103. This is the man who declared America is “run on hate” and called Americans “the most uneducated nation in the world.” I posted this video back in 2019! He backed Bernie Sanders and the Squad, advocated abolishing ICE, and pushed to make Florida a sanctuary state. What exactly did he renounce before the GOP started congratulating him? Who examined his organizational ties? Watch the video below. Explain this, Florida GOP. And the Democratic alternative? Robin Bartleman touts an MSA award, attends Ramadan events, and opposed HB 1471 (this protects American law and strengthens tools against terrorism) The MSA is named in the Muslim Brotherhood’s 1991 memorandum. She’s courting Muslim voters. Florida voters should demand answers about her alliances and her opposition to the bill. FLORIDA IS BEING ISLAMIZED, AND THE GOP IS EMBRACING THIS RADICAL - WHY!?

The October 7th attack was originally set for October 7, 2022. They pushed it back a year. So no, October 7th was not picked because it was an Israeli holiday, the date was already chosen. They did get lucky that the Nova festival was happening on that day in 2023, but it was never a part of the original plot. So why was the date chosen? Because on October 7, 2001, President George W. Bush announced Operation Enduring Freedom, and the United States began carpet bombing Kandahar. In early 2022, the first planning meeting for the attack didn’t happen in Gaza….it happened in Afghanistan. Once you understand that connection, the rest of the flood and the attack waves that are coming will start making a hell of a lot more sense. And don't let any of these Taliban fools convince you that this is over. It isn't.

I do. It's actually a really simple answer. Kids can understand it. I'll tell you the story now so you can be ready when you finally have grandkids, Mario Awful. For decades, Israelis tried to work with the Gazans, believing the impossible: that people who have declared that they want nothing more than to have Israel destroyed and Jews killed might be able to be persuaded to be friends by giving them land, money, resources, opportunities, and an infinite amount of patience. During those decades, huge amounts of humanitarian aid was sent to the Gaza Strip, which they used to militarize and to spend many years planning a savage surprise attack against the people helping them. Almost everyone in the world took up their cause, even many Israelis who lived right next door, even though the Gazans were taking advantage of all that help. They were offered everything but wouldn't accept it because all they wanted was Israel to be destroyed and Jews to be driven out or, preferably, dead. They were so fixated on that goal that nothing else mattered, and nothing else was good enough. They even used water pipes to build rockets and dug terror tunnels under their city and deep into Israeli territory to prepare for a surprise war. On an important Jewish holiday and their sabbath, the Gazans sprung their surprise attack. That was October 7, 2023. They launched over a thousand rockets at 6:30 am. The Israelis heard the sirens and knew they only had seconds to hide in their shelters from these attacks. By the way, every Israeli house has a bomb shelter in it because these kinds of attacks are so frequent. Also, every Israeli adult and child, little boys and little girls, knows from as soon as they can walk that when the sirens sound to go to the shelter because it is so important and so common. As the Israelis went, exhausted and sleepy, to their shelters to hide from the rocket attack, the Gazans sent a large armed force across the fence into Israel to do the most heinous things to the Israelis that you can imagine. Over a thousand were murdered. Things so horrible you cannot describe them to children happened everywhere. The Gazans celebrated and filmed themselves and put it on the internet, bragging and boasting about unimaginable horrors and murders. They dragged Israelis, including women, children, and babies and dead bodies, into their terror city and terror tunnels and started abusing and killing them slowly, using them and their corpses as collateral against the Israeli people and military. This lasted for over two years, with the last hostage's remains returned at the end of January 2026 after being taken in October 2023. The scale and nature of this attack is so horrific that it cannot be described politely, but its true evil wasn't just in the barbarity of its forces, which did unspeakable things to completely innocent men, women, and children everywhere they went, including many who openly supported them for years, but in how they took advantage of the trust and help they were given to do it. Gazans had spent years exploiting the goodwill of Israelis in the Gaza Envelope to gather intelligence, working as gardeners, housekeepers, taxi drivers, etc., to gather detailed intelligence of the neighborhoods and homes they would systematically attack starting on October 7. So many Israelis were betrayed at their trust and goodwill toward the Gazans, and by it. While they hid from those rockets in their shelters, Hamas terrorists systematically went through the carefully mapped streets of their neighborhoods, broke into houses, and shot them dead through the doors of their shelters, or crashed in through the walls from the outside using their own farming equipment to do it. Hamas terrorists knew the Israelis would be hiding from the rockets and knew where they'd be hiding, and they murdered them while they hid, deliberately, planned out in advance and for years. These people weren't just Israelis or Jews. They were innocents. In fact, as far as it goes, many of them were the greatest champions for the Gazans in Israel. Didn't matter. They were Israelis. They were Jews. They had to die in the most horrible ways you can think of. They had to be desecrated. They had to be taken hostage. It all had to be celebrated on video streamed live onto the internet to excite their radical friends around the region and the world. The horror is actually incomprehensible. Had this happened to Americans in the United States from one of its neighbors, the response Americans would have demanded cannot actually be comprehended. I stand in awe at how restrained and cautious and decent and good the Israelis have been, and it is to my slight embarrassment knowing that our own people, our own forces, wouldn't have managed a fraction of that decency, however much we would match the unparalleled effectiveness of these operations. That is, Mario Awful, I don't f*cking want to hear it, and neither do your grandkids. Respect them enough not to soil their minds with these lies, which are so evil that Hell itself would be slightly embarrassed to spread them. So, when Israel realized what had happened to them, what was still happening to them, how their trust, support, and patience had been taken advantage of in the nastiest and cruelest way human beings can possibly imagine, for zero good reasons and only unbelievably evil ones, they set out to make sure it would never happen again. They started a war of rescue and to end the military capacities of the Gazans, who were and still are governed by a radical terrorist group that even has in their charter that they want every Israeli driven out and every Jew that can be killed dead. Israel waged a patient war with the highest accuracy rate of any in the entire history of urban warfare, taking great pains and many casualties to spare innocent life, even when that innocent life openly supports the terror regime that governs them and wants them dead. The Gazans, however, had spent decades turning their entire city into a hidden military fortress, hiding weapons, entrances to terror tunnels, command centers, and every conceivable military target within civilian neighborhoods, including even homes, schools, hospitals, and houses of worship. Israel did what it had to do as carefully as it could be done. The devastation you see is the result of the evil of Hamas and the Gazans who support it having spent decades organizing their city to become a vast, sprawling military installation. The Gazans and their terrorist leaders took this organizational approach specifically for two reasons. One was to deter Israel from ever attacking or disabling their military installations at all. Even when the devastation seen here, that remained the case. Israel took great pains to minimize, including casualties, including complicated legal approvals, including warning both civilians and combatants in Gaza of incoming attacks against the installations, trying to save all innocent (and a lot of not-so-innocent) life. Another was to produce this propaganda, which Mario Awful, after having his account built to giant size by @elonmusk himself, spreads and promotes with foolish emotion-driven emojis and devastating lies of omission of these facts. Even as Israel dismantled the entire military capacity of Gaza bit by bit (which is what you see in the video here), they sent aid: more food, medicine, and other supplies than have ever been sent to a population controlled by an enemy military in the history of warfare, period. The terrorist leaders leveraged every bit of it against them, stealing it and starving their own people, creating propaganda campaigns about genocide and forced starvation, and even building more rockets out of raw materials including water pipes, which they then fired at Israel. Bit by bit, Israel dismantled as much of their military apparatus as they could and rescued or recovered all of their hostages, including among them Americans. The result is what you see. The result you see below is the most painstakingly moderate response a decent human being of even the slightest comprehension could possibly imagine, and yet that's what the Israelis have accomplished in Gaza. And they accomplished it while the world hated them for it, scrutinized everything not just for any legitimate breaches of perfection but for a litany of illegitimate accusations of things so voluminous that they could not even be recorded, except that they were in the relentless propaganda of social media, the global enemy propaganda channels, and even the mainstream press, almost all amplified and repeated by even allegedly good, decent conservatives who found these lies a perfect reason either to reveal their underlying but hidden hatred for Jews or to turn to that evil on false pretenses you are promoting, even now, even today. So when you sit down to tell your grandkids how humanity allowed Gaza to happen, tell them the real story. Humanity allowed Gaza to become a terrorist militarized city openly dedicated to the destruction of Israel and the murder and desecration of Jews and Jewish bodies by believing in some asinine humanitarian concept that defies all logic. It happened by creating a global political situation that, for reasons of Communist political correctness and soft-hearted and softer-headed compassion, refused to believe the simple reality of the situation. It happened because this delusion and misplaced trust persisted for decades while Hamas and its supporters turned Gaza into a terrorist military outpost that would simply have to be destroyed sooner or later, and then they pulled that trigger on themselves in the most obvious way possible on October 7, 2023, which stands as one of the darkest days of the last century. Humanity allowed Gaza to happen because it wouldn't take Hamas at its word. Humanity allowed Gaza to happen because it lied to itself for decades about the nature of the Islamic currents that motivate Hamas and "Palestinianism" more broadly. Humanity allowed Gaza to happen because it wouldn't address a problem correctly from the beginning, not least because it was terrified of being called racist and refused, nobly but stupidly, that human beings could be led by ideology and religion to the depths of evil and depravity that had captured the Gazans. Humanity allowed Gaza to happen, that is, because it refused to take Gazans at their word. Israel, starting in late 2023, finally woke up in the worst way possible to the need to STOP LETTING GAZA HAPPEN, the result of which your video depicts and the truth and moral of which you, like a demon, invert.
Years from now, my grandkids will ask me how humanity allowed Gaza to happen. I still don’t have an answer for them 💔 xitter.cf/mhmd_s09/status/209257…

Some of y’all are really upset because I have WHITE children in my program. It’s been constant in my DMs etc. And I’m not apologizing for helping a child. You can debate race, privilege and politics all day. I’m dealing with actual children standing in front of me who need guidance, structure, skills and people who care about them. When they walk through my doors, they’re MY boys. They’re going to learn. They’re going to be challenged. They’re going to be corrected. And they’re going to be loved. I’ve had to grow and challenge some of my own prejudices over the years too. But one thing I know now: a child’s skin color will NEVER be my reason for refusing to pour into him.

They walked into rooms as Capitol Police. They walked out as Trump supporters. Rep. Clay Higgins sat with Lara Logan and said he has seen the tape. Capitol Police and Metro officers entering rooms inside the Capitol in uniform. Coming out dressed as MAGA and construction workers. Trump was still speaking outside. On the inside: groups of five and six already moving through the halls. Doors opening from within. Men on the interior steps waving people forward. “Come on.” Lara asked the only question that still matters. “You’ve seen that?” “Yeah.” “So why has that video not been released yet?” They have sat on it for years. Higgins did not call it a riot that got out of hand. He called it coordinated. Nefarious forces. Guides who already knew the unmarked offices. Release every angle. Then let the country judge what January 6 actually was.

This Canadian woman was given MAID as her only choice for stage 4 cancer in Deathcare Canada. She went to the US and death was not the option the doctors there gave her. Canadian healthcare used to be good, it is now in desperate fear of collapse. They're bringing in doctors who did not study in Canada and whatever else that entails. I find the healthcare in the US unquestionably superior. Health insurance is the same since I don't pay income tax in Florida, I pay it on insurance. There is immediate, private healthcare if you need it. Medically assisted suicide is not an option they offer.

Barack Obama – The Most Complete Product of the Long March – The Community Organizer Who Became President. He is not the villain of this story either. He is its most gifted protagonist. The son of a Kenyan economist and a Kansas anthropologist, raised partly in Indonesia and partly in Hawaii; community organizer in Chicago; president of the Harvard Law Review; Illinois state senator; U.S. senator; President of the United States at 47. The American story working exactly as advertised – and simultaneously the most complete illustration of the Gramscian pipeline ever produced. Not a contradiction. The same thing. 1. He studied and taught the Alinsky method. Not metaphorically – literally. In Chicago in the 1980s, Obama worked as a community organizer in an environment deeply shaped by Saul Alinsky’s organizing tradition. He taught workshops on the Alinsky method and learned the mechanics of organizing: identify interests, build relationships, develop leaders, acquire power, and use organization to turn local grievances into political force. He knew the manual. He taught the manual. He then applied it at national scale – which is either the most remarkable career progression in American political history or the most complete proof of concept the Long March ever produced. Probably both. 2. The rhetorical genius was real. "Yes We Can." "Hope and Change." "We are the ones we have been waiting for." The ability to speak the language of unity while practicing the politics of organization – Alinsky’s politics of conflict and organization wrapped in the aesthetics of reconciliation. The form was post-partisan. The content was the most disciplined ideological project since Reagan – except Reagan was trying to dismantle the administrative state and Obama was building it. The speeches made you feel the argument was over. The argument was just beginning. 3. The Nobel Prize, awarded eight months into his first term – for nothing yet done – is the most complete illustration of cultural hegemony in modern political history. The performance of the correct identity, the correct values, and the correct aesthetic was sufficient, before any policy, to generate the highest international recognition available. The prize was not for what he had done. It was for what he represented. Which is precisely the point – and precisely what Gramsci had theorized seventy years earlier. 4. The institutional transformation was the substance beneath the aesthetics. Eight years produced the expansion of the administrative state into every corner of American life, the installation of a generation of ideologically aligned officials throughout the federal bureaucracy, the transformation of the regulatory apparatus, the use of executive action to achieve what legislation could not. The ratchet, applied at presidential scale. A subsequent administration could change the direction but not undo the installation – because the people installed remained, in the civil service, the judiciary, the regulatory agencies, doing what they had been placed there to do. 5. He understood, better than any politician since Reagan, that politics is culture before it is policy. The campaign was a cultural event – the logo, the fonts, the rallies, the language, the sense that something larger than politics was happening. He didn’t win because of policy positions. He won because he had changed what felt possible – and what felt possible changed what people were willing to vote for. This is Gramsci applied to electoral politics: shift the cultural assumptions first, and the political victories follow as confirmation rather than cause. 6. The luxury beliefs were structural. Harvard Law. University of Chicago. Net worth approximately seventy million dollars after leaving office. Homes in Washington, Martha’s Vineyard, and Hawaii. The man of the people who became the establishment – whose policies on immigration, criminal justice, and education were most costly for the working-class communities he had organized in Chicago. And then there is the habit of describing yourself as the challenger long after you have become the establishment. The outsider rhetoric maintained from the most powerful office in the world. It is not hypocrisy exactly – it is the organizer’s grammar surviving the organizer’s promotion. The language was learned in Chicago in the 1980s and never updated, because it still worked, and because the audience it worked on never noticed the distance between the speech and the address. 7. The honest assessment: he was extraordinarily good at what he did. The question is what he did. He took the Alinsky manual, the Gramscian strategy, the Frankfurt School’s cultural framework, and synthesized them into the most electorally successful progressive project in American history. He didn’t design the long march. He was its most gifted product – and its most effective accelerant. The institutions he found captured, he left more captured. The Overton Window he found shifted, he left shifted further. What he built – or rather, what he accelerated and consolidated – did not depend on him personally. The officials installed remain. The regulatory architecture expanded. The cultural assumptions shifted. The pipeline filled with people who wanted to be him and learned, from watching him, exactly how it was done. The most complete product of the long march became its most effective teacher.
Saul Alinsky – The Community Activist Who Wrote the Manual Saul Alinsky was a Chicago community organizer who spent his life teaching slum residents how to make landlords fix the heating. He despised ideologues, mocked the New Left as posturing children, joined no party, and dedicated Rules for Radicals half-jokingly to Lucifer – the original rebel who at least got his own kingdom. He would have found today’s activists ridiculous. He would have said so loudly. And yet almost everything currently done to people who step out of line was written down by him in 1971. He is not the villain of this story. He built a toolkit for the powerless – and then the powerful picked it up. The weapon changed hands. Which is what makes the story worth telling. 1. Start with what he actually built. A toolkit for the powerless against the powerful. Not a philosophy – a set of practical instructions for people with no money, no lawyers, and no access, facing a landlord who wouldn’t repair anything or a company that wouldn’t hire them. In that context the rules are not sinister. They are what you use when you have nothing else. And they are good rules. Power is not what you have but what the enemy thinks you have. Make the enemy live up to his own rulebook – nobody can, because no institution can meet its own stated standards. Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon; there is no defense against it. Read those as a tenant in 1960s Chicago and they are simply true. 2. He was not a theorist. He was a practitioner – which makes him more immediately useful than Marcuse and more operationally precise than anyone else in the long march tradition. He didn’t describe the cultural revolution. He wrote the user manual. Twelve rules. Specific, tested, applicable by anyone with the will to use them. The problem is not the man. It is the manual – morally neutral about targets and outcomes. A tool that works against a corrupt slumlord works equally well against a journalist, a politician, or a platform that allows the wrong opinions. 3. Rule 1: Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have. The appearance of strength is as useful as strength itself – and cheaper to produce. A small group that looks large, disciplined, and coordinated will be treated as such. This is why activist groups representing tiny minorities can move governments, corporations, and institutions – because institutions respond to perceived power, not actual power. The bluff is the strategy. 4. Rule 5: Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. There is no defense against it. The target cannot respond to mockery with argument – argument dignifies the attack. Humor, contempt, and public embarrassment are more effective than any substantive critique because they operate below the level of rational response. This is why the left’s cultural dominance expressed itself through comedy for twenty years. Not coincidence. Strategy. The right spent the same period writing policy papers. 5. Rule 8: Keep the pressure on. Never let up. The target must be kept permanently off-balance, responding to attacks rather than advancing its own agenda. Rotate the tactics but maintain the pressure relentlessly. This is why the institutional assault on any opposition figure never stops – the stories rotate, the accusations shift, the investigations multiply, but the pressure is constant. The goal is not to win any individual battle. It is to exhaust. 6. Rule 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it. The most operationally important rule in the manual – and the one that outran its author most completely. Don’t attack the institution – attack the person. Make it personal, cut off the target from support networks by making association with them costly, make retreat impossible by making the target’s name synonymous with the position you are attacking. Against an institution protected by anonymity, this is the only thing that works. Against an individual protected by nothing, it is something else entirely. Personalize and polarize is a reasonable tactic for a tenant against a corporation. Applied by a corporation to one person, it is a firing squad. Ridicule is a fine weapon for the man with no lawyer; deployed by every institution simultaneously against one dissenting individual, it is the pillory. The rules assumed an asymmetry that has since reversed – and they are far more effective in the new direction than they ever were in the old one. This is cancel culture – not as a spontaneous social phenomenon but as the deliberate tactical application of a rule written in 1971. 7. The book contains one observation that admirers prefer not to discuss: Alinsky noted that the most effective organizers are those without fixed ethical commitments – willing to use whatever works, unconstrained by principle. "In war the end justifies almost any means." He framed this as realism. It is also a description of the type the strategy selects for – and produces. The movement that applies Alinsky’s rules will, over time, be led by people for whom these rules are not tactics but character. This is how you get from defending poor neighborhoods to the institutions we are currently living inside. 8. The training worked. A young community organizer in Chicago learned the method, taught it, and went on to become President of the United States. Hillary Clinton wrote her senior thesis on it. That is not an accusation – it is a measure of how good the toolkit is. What began as a manual for tenants became a career path into the highest offices in the world, and then the operating manual of the institutions themselves. 9. Alinsky died in 1972, a year after publication. He did not see the captured universities, the corporate DEI departments, the social media pile-ons, the lawfare campaigns, the advertiser boycotts against platforms that allow unauthorized speech. He would have recognized all of it. The manual worked better than even he anticipated – because he wrote it for small groups challenging large institutions, and nobody anticipated that the small groups would eventually become the large institutions, applying the manual against the individuals who challenged them. The rules do not change when the power changes. They just find new targets. Alinsky did not build a conspiracy. He built an instrument. Instruments do not remember who they were made for. It is now the institutions who run the insurgent’s playbook, while pretending they are still the tenants in the cold apartment. Every one of them speaks the language of the powerless. Every one of them has the power. And the instructions for what they do to you were written by a man who thought he was helping you.

When the Turks found the Greek bishop Dionysios the Philosopher in 1611, they flayed him alive, stuffed his skin with straw, and paraded it from city to city. Eventually, this "attraction" reached Constantinople, where it was received with enthusiasm by the muslims. When it passed below the sultan's seraglio, the sultan, hearing the commotion, rose from his throne and stepped out onto the balcony to see what was happening. Three days later, the muslim Turks also discovered Deli Giorgos and Lambros. They burned Lambros alive, while they crucified Giorgos and, instead of a crown of thorns on his head, they drilled holes into which they placed feathers. Dionysios’s skin, together with the heads of 85 Greek Christian rebels, was sent to Constantinople, where it was thrown into the Sultan’s stables. Afterwards, Osman Pasha carried out reprisals against the population of Thesprotia, while a climate of terror spread to Ioannina and throughout Epirus. Many churches and monasteries were destroyed, such as that of Saint Demetrios at Dichouni, and their properties were confiscated. Many inhabitants of these areas were killed, enslaved, or forced to convert to Islam, while most of the survivors scattered into the mountains. From the fall of Constantinople in 1453 until 1822, the Greeks suffered systematically unimaginable tortures and slaughters for their faith. It was barbarism that the human mind cannot imagine or comprehend. These are dark pages of history that the world does not know. But you have learn and search about what the barbarians did in the name of their god. - Homer Pavlos

Meryl Streep is a brilliant actress. That isn't the point. C.S. Lewis wrote Aslan as Christ. Male. He. The Son of the Emperor-Over-the-Sea. Netflix has chosen a woman to give voice to that explicitly male Christ figure. This doesn't happen in a cultural vacuum. For years, Hollywood has been deliberately breaking the connection between biological sex, gender and identity, particularly in stories presented to children. Male becomes female. Female becomes male. And eventually the audience is expected to pretend there are no differences. As if they weren't there. Now that treatment has reached Aslan, one of the most recognizable representations of Jesus Christ in children's literature. This is not “artistic vision.” This switch from male to female of a representation of Christ in literature is both disrespectful of C.S. Lewis' original work and and the man himself. At what point does “inclusion” become the deliberate erasure of the source material, and a mockery of the Christian faith at its center?

One of them - an African man - was not Christian but converted so he could die on that beach with his fellow Christians. God bless him and his family.
NEVER FORGET THE 21 In 2015, twenty Christian men were taken to a beach in Libya and ordered to deny Christ. Beside them, Matthew Ayariga chose their faith and their fate: “Their God is my God.” Twenty Christians were taken to that beach. Twenty-one died for Christ.

Since Butler is in the news again today, I thought I'd post what I saw from the front row after the shots rang out. Not staged.
