One reason why the anti-feminist movement does not succeed is that every generation eventually realises that women’s rights are human rights.
Anyway, feminism has existed for centuries, before many of your forefathers were even born, so none of you has the power to end it. 😊 Men before you tried too, they chased women away from gatherings, even attempted to silence them, & it has never worked. You can only wail!💀

Uganda is tapping its nearly $7 billion in reserves to lessen the blow of a plunging shilling, which is the world’s second-worst-performing currency this month after Iraq’s dinar. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

The world is closed to travel for most Africans. Visa apartheid has created two systems were Westerns are able to travel the world freely while Africans are restricted by visa restrictions.
The idea that the world is closed off to travel compared to the past is bullshit. Everything east of Berlin was essentially inaccessible. Any tour of a Soviet country would require you to be monitored at all times by the secret police. You couldn't walk out of a hotel by yourself half the time. You had a guide who told you the state line and that was it - he would be monitored to make sure he did too. Even if you go to China or Russia today, you will never be on the receiving-end of something like that. South-East Asia was a no go zone pretty much as late as the turn of the millenium. Cambodia had a Civil War into the 90s and Vietnam was borderline African in terms of poverty until the Doi Moi reforms of the 1980s. China itself was completely closed until recently. There are multiple news reports of China from the 1970s/80s where the Great Wall was totally empty as no one was there. South America was vastly more violent back in the Escobar days, and even the Opreration Condor Days. Coups were happening back and forth and well funded Communist militias had a great incentive to kidnap you for ransom. Even Cuba wasn't what it became - it only became a tourist place after the collapse of the USSR and the need to find money elsewhere. If you went in the 80s it was an extremely sterile place, it was far more repressive even if slightly richer than what it is now, and parties/prostitution were extremely rare. Africa was equally fucked up. In the aftermath of decolonisation and Cold War geopolitical plays. Does anyone even know there was a reverse Rwanda-Genocide in 1972 that killed a quarter of a million Hutus? How many people know about the mass killings of Arabs in Tanzania? African rulers at the time were far more insane than they are now - Mguema, Amin, Bokossa, you would absolutely not want to fuck with any of these people. Even if you wanted to go to the States, it was a nightmare. 1970s and 1980s American cities, where you'd presumably want to go to see NYC of DC, were post apocalyptic hellholes with murder rates comparable to Latin America. Entire districts of New York were completely abandoned. Times Square wasn't Tourist Disneyland, it was just porn theatres and muggings. So yeah, this is legit the best era in history, with trivial exceptions.

The Americans will keep us waiting for days. Al Gore v Bush is one that I can never forget.
Every time I live through yet another Brazilian election I can’t but marvel at an electoral system that can count 120 million votes in a single evening. Take a bow, Brazil

Now I can sleep. The last time I slept while monitoring an election, Tinubu became the president of Nigeria.

Men and women def see things differently cos this is a perfect makeup to me.
A Unilag student did this for my birthday last year, I paid 10k. This picture is unedited, and I loved how the makeup matched my skin tone perfectly. Charging crazy prices doesn't prove your skill.

Bad governance at the subnational level is the main reason why Jos is what it is today. Insecurity is an outcome.
If not for insècurity, Jos would've been one of the best places to live in Nigeria. Good whether Cheap food No traffic No Agberos/Tugs A little bit cheaper housing/rents And many more..

Every rapper with commercial success is because of white fan base. There's no money in this music without the whites. Stop using it only to discredit Eminem. None of your favorites will see millions if you take away the white consumer base
Replying to @syfron
Eminem’s peak is largely due to his white fan base.

Radio is evolving, not dying. In the UK, 87% of adults tune in to Radio every week, in the US it’s 92%. Radio still dominates in car listening globally, in Uganda it remains the most widely used medium, well ahead of TV and social media at 82% of population listening everyday. What could be struggling is the traditional style of listening through FM or AM frequency. Bottom line, the stations currently struggling are those who are not evolving.
Radio generally is a dying media, I’m curious to see how much life it has left across the globe.
