Michigan Farm Bureau appreciates President Trump and @Secretary Brooke Rollins for taking the concerns of the farm economy seriously.
This bridge payment is an important first step in providing relief after a challenging year. We are encouraged by the initial $11 billion in aid to row crop farmers and the $1 billion allocated for specialty crop growers.
As the second most commodity-diverse state in the nation, Michigan stands ready to offer support and expertise as this program is developed and implemented.

Happy National Ag Day! 🌾🚜
Agriculture isn’t just a career - it’s a way of life. From dawn to dusk, farmers live and breathe the land. Each state’s agriculture is unique across our country, and these governors know it. So, to every farmer, rancher, and producer, THANK YOU!
Thank you for visiting with us State Farm Bureau presidents, Secretary Rollins. It’s clear you understand the challenges facing ag and have a vision for success for our farmers. I look forward to hosting you in Michigan.
Thank you for having me @FarmBureau! So great to be with members from all 50 states.
America’s farmers are facing some of the most economically challenging times in history. As @POTUS made clear during last night’s address: We hear you, we are with you, and help is on the way.

The men and women of American agriculture are the backbone of our country. But right now, farmers and ranchers are facing some of the most challenging economic conditions in years.
Congress must act to provide the support rural America needs. 🧵

We congratulate Brooke Rollins on her nomination to be Secretary of Agriculture. We're pleased she has a good relationship with our state Farm Bureau in Texas and hope to build on it if she's confirmed by the Senate.
