I am a proud and loyal Democrat. I served in President Clinton’s National Security Council and worked for Madeleine Albright at the State Department. I ran for Congress as a Democrat, have voted Democratic all my life, and expect to continue doing so.
But I would never vote for Abdul El-Sayed. In my judgment, he does not represent the values of our party or our nation. I urge my fellow patriotic Democrats in Michigan to leave the Senate line blank or vote for Republican Mike Rogers.
This is an exceptional case, and I do not make this recommendation lightly. We can support Democratic majorities nationally while refusing to support a candidate who violates our core values. Loyalty to our party should strengthen our principles, never require us to abandon them.

Mike Rogers hit another grand slam on the debate stage tonight. He was calm, cool, collected and articulate.
And he exposed his opponent for being the smug, radical Leftist that he is.
Every common sense person in Michigan needs to get out and VOTE for Mike Rogers!

Abdul El-Sayed is going to a fundraiser with billionaires and hundred millionaires. All the people he claims to be against. Begging for more money in politics.
He's a total hypocrite.

To the Kenowa Hills Community and Supporters
Unfortunately, the District has left me with no choice but to hire an attorney to challenge the findings contained in its report. I strongly believe the report contains numerous inaccuracies, mistakes, and statements that have unfairly damaged my reputation.
I am especially concerned about the alleged MHSAA violations. I maintain that I did not knowingly violate MHSAA rules during my time in the program. I also have serious concerns that the MHSAA may not have been provided with all of the accurate and complete information necessary to make a fair determination. I believe it is critical that the correct facts are reviewed before any final decisions are made.
I cannot simply accept a report that I believe contains false or misleading information and move forward while my name and reputation continue to be harmed. The proposed consequences, including restrictions that could prevent me from watching my own son play, make this even more difficult to accept.
I want to be clear: I strongly disagree with the conclusions of the Kenowa Hills District investigation. I believe the investigation and the subsequent self-reporting to the MHSAA were influenced by individuals who had been working to remove me from my role as head football coach.
My family and I do not deserve to have our names associated with allegations that we believe are inaccurate. We will continue to pursue the facts and seek a fair opportunity to respond to and correct the record.
Much of the statewide attention and public criticism surrounding this situation could have been avoided. I believe the facts should have been thoroughly established before conclusions were shared that caused such significant damage to my name, my family, and our community.
I have always cared deeply about the players, families, and community I have had the privilege to serve. I will continue to stand up for the truth and fight to clear my name from allegations I believe are false.

I honestly haven’t watched one Tigers game this season, I have no interest in them. This trade reinforces that decision. #Tigers

The Detroit Pistons shot 60 attempts inside the arc and got 12 free throw attempts.
The Cleveland Cavaliers shot 37 attempts inside the arc and got 34 free throw attempts.
Donovan Mitchell had more FT’s than the entire Detroit Pistons team.
The Cleveland Cavaliers went an entire quarter of NBA basketball without be called for a foul.
I know the Detroit Pistons starters did not perform well at all in this game but the DRASTIC disparity of free throw attempts in favor of the jump shooting team over the slashing team is unbelievable.
Amazing how Cleveland has 0 fouls called against them. Refs need to call this game right. #Pistons

Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn’t comedy- his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America.
People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate.
A coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him.
Enough is enough. It is time for ABC to take a stand. How many times will ABC’s leadership enable Kimmel’s atrocious behavior at the expense of our community.
The officials in the Pistons series have been terrible. Physical on both sides of the court and the Magic rarely get fouls called against them. Have to do better! #pistons
LCA is cursed. Pistons about to go 0-6 in the playoffs at LCA. And the Red Wings haven’t played a playoff game since leaving the Joe. Knock LCA down.
