I have to admit this is a "sexy" solution to the microstructure problem that has been lingering for a while now! I'm also guessing that the reason some of us in Canada have had high values (1.3 and above) is due to the DH layers dominating the scattering?

Beau travail multi-fréquence pour supporter les résultats sur le facteur unique pour les grains ronds/facettes et l'autre pour le givre. Je peux aussi confirmer que le givre dans les régions alpines du Canada est très différent du givre de l'Arctique Canadien.

A beautiful day in Eureka Sound. Started our survey where we’re trying to address uncertainties in sea ice products unique to the Arctic archipelago. This includes I’m extensive mapping of ice topography and snow microstructure. – at Baffin, Unorganized, Nunavut

This piece about a Sydney man giving up drinking by 2050 (by the time he is 101) is hilarious. But also a cautionary tale about net zero by 2050 commitments. They need to be credible, transparent, have robust plans & result in real emissions cuts asap. theshovel.com.au/2021/10/26/…
