Their money was a promise from a bank, and the bank, under government orders, broke it.

🚨Nigel Farage says Britain is the only country with clean hands over slavery
The Reform UK leader said every civilisation for the last 5000 years has engaged in slavery which is still active in the Middle East and Africa and that the UK uniquely spent more money driving it off the high seas than it ever made from it.
He vowed not to bow down to any left wing Jamaican or Barbadian government and said if they want an apology get it from the West African slave traders who sold the slaves in the first place.

It's suspected deported Afghans from Pakistan are amongst arrivals here.
