This was predicted weeks ago on our show remember. Oregon playing itself out of the playoff wasn’t worth the health risk for a guy who would’ve been a top 5 pick in the NFL Draft six months ago.
NEWS: Oregon coach Dan Lanning announces that star quarterback Dante Moore is not expected to play the rest of the season. He hasn’t played since suffering a concussion against USC on Sept. 26. Moore returned to Oregon for 2026 after projecting as a top pick in the NFL Draft.

U-M announced it's begun its "national search" for an athletic director and brought in executive search firm ZRG Turnkey to facilitate it, the same firm that led to the hiring of Dusty May and Kyle Whittingham. record.umich.edu/articles/u-…

Michigan's defense has held all 7 opponents to 20 points or fewer. Since 2014, FBS teams that do that win 87% of the time. Michigan is 4-3. Jason Beck has to go. Now. Here's the data. 🧵

Scott Frost has more wins against Top 5 opponents this season than Matt Rhule has in his entire career… I think that qualifies as Nebraska losing the bye week

From @ESPNInsights: Michigan had not lost to an AP top 10 opponent while allowing 13 points or fewer since 1985, when it lost to No. 1 Iowa 12-10. The Wolverines had won 13 such games.

Curt Cignetti says that Josh Hoover “wasn’t 100-percent today, all week.” Hoover didn’t complete a pass in second half. But he hit a big pass in OT and ran for a touchdown for the program’s first win in the Big House in 57 years.

Unranked Wisconsin deals USC its second loss. No clue what's going to happen week-to-week in this league this season. Most wide open year since 1990, when four teams (Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, and Michigan State) all shared the title.

More chaos in the Big Ten as unranked Minnesota upsets Iowa. First time under PJ Fleck that Gophers have won the little brown jug and Floyd of Rosedale in same season. First time since 1960 Minnesota beat Michigan and Iowa at home in same season.

Illinois officially ends Oregon's season. Ducks were natty or bust coming in, like Penn State last year, and also like Penn State last year they busted. Have to think we've likely seen the last of Dante Moore, too. No point returning to risk injury for the Reliaquest Bowl.

Literally worst unit in all of college football. Brian Ferentz Iowa wasn't this bad.
Michigan's offense through seven games: -13 turnovers -15 pre-snap penalties -17 drives inside opponents' 40-yard line that didn't yield a touchdown -16 offensive touchdowns

Michigan is 33rd power conference team since 2000 to allow 20 points or fewer in each of the first 7 games of a season. They are the only one to lose 3 of those games. The other 32 combined for 11 losses with 2019 Iowa the only other with even 2
