The sickening stories keeping coming in…😢😢😢 SHAME ON YOU, @StubHub. Imagine being a kid, a HUGE @Brewers fan, and finding out you’re going to see your team play in the WORLD SERIES! ⚾️💙💛 The excitement. The anticipation. The memories you’re already imagining making. Now imagine having that excitement ripped away because a company sold your 3 tickets that you bought, that they apparently can’t deliver. That’s exactly what we’re dealing with right now. We purchased THREE tickets to the Milwaukee Brewers World Series for Game 1 last Tuesday(13th) through StubHub. We selected our section, our row, paid for our tickets, and received our order confirmation. Everything was supposed to be set. Then suddenly, StubHub tells us they’re “searching for replacement options” because they can’t provide the tickets we purchased. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! How does a company accept someone’s hard earned money, confirm a purchase, and then turn around and say they can’t fulfill it?! And their solution? We can request a refund while they continue looking for tickets. THIS ISN’T ABOUT THE MONEY. It’s about the experience. It’s about the memories. It’s about the excitement of a kid, his dad, and grandpa, who thought they were going to watch their favorite baseball team play on the biggest stage in baseball. Look at the first picture. That’s the disappointment you’re creating, StubHub. A refund doesn’t replace that moment. And here’s what really bothers me… StubHub advertises a “FanProtect Guarantee” and tells customers their orders are “100% guaranteed.” Guaranteed WHAT, exactly?! Because from where we’re sitting, that guarantee doesn’t feel worth much when you can’t deliver the tickets you sold us. We did everything right. We purchased through a major ticket marketplace. We trusted the confirmation. We trusted the guarantee. Now it’s time for StubHub to make it right. We aren’t asking for anything extra. We want the three tickets we paid for, or comparable or better seats together, at no additional cost. Stubhub…DO BETTER. Please SHARE this. Not just for us, but for every fan who has trusted a ticket company with an experience that means so much more than the price of admission. ℹ️Brandon Barker

In 1992 Archie Karas drove to Las Vegas with $50. Three years later he had more than $40 million. His friends begged him to put five or ten million aside. He told them he was a gambler, and he needed the money to gamble. He lost all of it. December 1992. He had just lost almost his entire bankroll in Los Angeles. He arrived in Las Vegas with his car and fifty dollars. At the Mirage he recognised a player he knew and borrowed $10,000. He turned it into $30,000 and paid back twenty the same week. Then he found a rich man who liked to gamble and played him at nine-ball. Five thousand a game, then forty thousand a game. He took $1.2 million off him, and another $3 million at the poker table. Stu Ungar lost $500,000 to him heads-up, then another $700,000. Chip Reese was down $2,022,000 after twenty-five sessions. Puggy Pearson and Johnny Moss lost too. "I was the best. One-man army, by myself. Anybody came in town, challenged me, I would play them. And I beat them all." "And then what happens? They didn't want to play anymore." So he went to the dice table and bet up to $100,000 on a single roll. "When I used to play dice there'd be lines of people watching me." He held every $5,000 chip the Horseshoe had. That was when his friends told him to put five or ten million somewhere safe. He said he needed it to gamble. In the video below he talks about what happened next. "The only thing wrong with Archie was he didn't stop." "I started playing baccarat. I lose over 20 million like in 10 days. That's half of my bankroll. And ended up losing all the money." All of it. Forty million dollars. And then he went back to the tables anyway. "A lot of the guys out there in the poker world, they talk about me. There's a guy lost 40 million and he's over there playing $5 chips. And I have the guts to do that." "I consider myself the king of the gamblers, because I made it and lost it." In September 2013 he was caught marking cards at a blackjack table in San Diego. He was found guilty and given three years' probation. In 2015 Nevada banned him from every casino in the state, permanently. He died in September 2024, at seventy-three. He won forty million without ever cheating. He was banned for cheating once he had nothing left. His friends asked him for five million. Would you have put it aside?
