Hey, y'all! It's @LilBimaThug's ClutchFans writing debut! Give it a read! clutchfans.net/13883/rockets…

Final: Rockets 121, Hawks 114
Durant 22 points (8-15 FG)
Sheppard 19 pts, 6 rebs, 7 assts
Eason 19 pts
Thompson 17 pts, 11 rebs, 5 assts
Rockets avoid a complete meltdown late in the 4th and start the season 3-0 for the first time since 2017.
Big-time performances from Reed Sheppard and Tari Eason with FVV, Smart and Steven Adams all sitting out. The depth and shot-making with this team has made such a big jump compared to last year. This could've easily been a schedule loss on the B2B. Rockets find a way to get it done.

Just watching the Rockets try to close this game without Fred VanVleet reminds you of all 82 games last year.

Great discussion about the value of space, and i believe more importantly 2nd round picks
Somehow, 2nd round picks still aren’t considered an extremely valuable asset by a large contingent
Yet majority of trades that occur in the NBA, including impactful players, are largely built on 2nd round picks as the assets in return
The @JakeLFischer Latest takes you inside some recent trade discussions on a deal you haven't heard about and which ultimately collapsed earlier this week ... and what those talks and the outcome tell us about the NBA's spending landscape.

If Smart can’t go, I bet we see Tari start, with plenty of Bogi as another ball handler. But yeah, Bruce could see a few minutes.
However you tend to vote, I strongly discourage you from voting purely for one political party. Especially in the judicial races, there are a bunch of top choices on both sides of the aisle. Do a little homework and vote for the *best* candidate, not the "red" or the "blue" one.
My Saturday read ahead of the elections. Strongly recommend you take a look. Non-partisan (or at least attempting to be) and informative. houstonchronicle.com/project…

NEW AD: Have you seen these anti-Talarico attack ads?
Elon Musk paid for nearly all of them.
The world's first trillionaire knows if he drags the most corrupt politician in Texas across the finish line, Ken Paxton will owe him everything.
@ElonMusk: Texas is not for sale.

I mean, just an all-time TV segment. Making Chuck do Who He Play For multiple times in a row with the same players is a brilliant idea and I was legit crying laughing by the end, my god.
