Has $ASTS already hired all their Rocket engineers to build this new launcher? Genuine question - I may have missed them.
Or will this be like 2026 Launch where they didn't even post the job listings for the Launch team until April 2026? (while claiming in 2025 60+ sat launch)
There is no way $ASTS designs, builds, and flies a rocket in 2 years.
This will be a money pit for at least 4-5 years, if not more.
And it signals that they don’t have access to launch from SpaceX or Blue Origin or anybody.

$ASTS non-comm/radar confirmed by the company in Q2 2026 ER call.
Look, I'm a believer in the AI story but if you're unable to understand what is going on, you are not going to make it in markets.
$COST & $WMT trade at these levels because they are superb operators that provide stable results. Look at my table below - there is a lot of money out there that would love a 7%+ super-stable return.
It's a confidence and probabilities game - and right now the confidence of the E-growth for tech and AI is low, which results in lower fPE.
If you truly believe the market is wrong in its assessment of the p(earnings growth) [lol sorry for the p doom reference] then you have a lot of money to make right now.
Stop crying in the casino because you put on leverage and got blown out on a minor correction.
Wall Street is paying 40x earnings for Costco and Walmart while hyperscalers growing revenues 4x faster trade at 20x. Apparently selling toilet paper is a safer bet than building the infrastructure for the biggest technological revolution in human history. Peak financial sophistication right there.
Ok, maybe theres something deeper going on. The market is paying a premium for capital preservation while discounting capital formation. Investors love AI, just not the inconvenient part where somebody actually has to spend money building the freaking thing. They want the productivity boom without the investment cycle. Genius.
And this is where the liquidity squeeze enters. Capital gets expensive, markets punish capex, fewer projects get financed, supply gets tighter, and suddenly the infrastructure everyone refused to fund becomes even more valuable. Beautiful little paradox. $IREN and $MRVL sit right in the middle of that mess, although financing and execution risks are very real.
Of course capex needs to earn a return. Nobody's disputing that. But if the AI demand curve is even remotely right, Wall Street may be discounting tomorrow's productive capacity precisely because today's financial plumbing cant stomach the bill.
Weve somehow built a market that rewards companies for not investing in the future, then acts shocked when the future runs out of capacity.
Dont worry tho, once the infrastructure is built, cash is flowing and the multiples have doubled, they'll happily call it a secular growth opportunity again. At 40x earnings, naturally.
Turns out that many of the 0% income tax states are also school choice with vouchers that follow your kids. 🤷♂️
As a father who just chose not to send my older son to public school, here's what's happening:
1. NYC public schools are full of woke, mentally ill people. The teachers, the students, the counselors, everyone is wacked out. If you're just a normal parent that wants a normal school with a normal focus on education, good behavior, friendship, manners, etc. you are shit out of luck.
2. While there are some good elementary schools, most middle schools are atrocious, and result in some of the biggest drops in education outcomes. Even if you send your kid to a good elementary public school, you're 100% going to move in time for middle school. And if you make it to high school, your only hope are the specialized schools, but mamdani the islamist is intent on destroying them, which would completely fuck your kids.
3. The average kid in an average NYC public school is stupid as hell. 70% do not read proficiently for their grade level. They can't do math. They have a ton of behavioral issues and are bad influences on your kid.
As a normal father of a normal family I'm paying an absurd amount of taxes and for what? My hard earned money is being wasted on the comically evil teachers union, paying adult day care fraudsters, and subsidizing the "73% of public school students in poverty." This is just a scam. Those kids are not in poverty. Their parents work under the table, don't report anything to not pay taxes, and get ridiculous government subsidies.
Everyone is running a scam and families like mine are paying for it. It's no wonder so many of my peers left and despite living in NYC for coming on 30 years, I probably will too at some point.
Not to mention the $SPCX satellites can be reused constantly over the whole of the earth versus the fiber is stuck where it is.
I did the math on Starlink vs AT&T Fiber because I couldn't help myself.
Almost the same number of customers, 13.6M vs 13.31M. Same bill, about $70 a month.
Starlink built its network for about $1,070 per customer. AT&T spent about $4,200 digging trenches.
But satellites burn up after about 5 years, and fiber just sits in the ground for 30. So Starlink spends about $17.80 a month per customer replacing satellites, while AT&T pays about $11.70.
Cheap Starship launches could flip that math. My money's on the sky.
Why is $RKT shooting up? Well, the CEO said this at exactly this candle:
“Bruce said it well. I expect Q4 to be tough. You have the normal seasonality. We usually measure that at about 15% to 18% down on a historical basis when you compare Q4 to Q3. However, given the sharp increases in rates, I expect there to be a lot of pressure on rate and term refinance in Q4. We can measure almost a 50% decrease on the refinance side going into Q4. If all these conditions hold, it could be one of our lowest origination quarters in three decades or lowest market quarters, I should say, in three decades”
Making 20% in a few minutes because the market is dumb and doesn't realize the analysts are still on the $PGY call feels good.
Are we just going to ignore that it’s providerS $ASTS fam?
They should ask $ASTS how high they got on the BONG.
NEW: NASA has confirmed that SpaceX's Starship will fly WITHOUT a crew cabin during its 2027 Artemis III test mission, while Blue Origin's competing lunar lander will undergo crewed evaluations in orbit.
Four astronauts aboard NASA's Orion spacecraft will rendezvous and dock with both vehicles in low Earth orbit.
Blue Origin's Blue Moon will allow astronauts to enter its cabin and evaluate life-support systems over approximately two days.
SpaceX will launch a Starship V3 test vehicle equipped with a docking mechanism, but no crew cabin. Orion will dock with Starship for up to two hours, with astronauts remaining aboard Orion.
The demonstration will test docking, communications, spacecraft control and software integration.
NASA is keeping both companies in contention for its first crewed lunar landing in 2028, with neither provider assigned the mission.
The eventual Starship lunar lander will include a crew cabin and life-support systems.
No wonder $ASTS was up 10% at one point, pre-revenue for longer!
$ASTS - 🚨 Could be the reason why we haven't seen a launch date yet for BB14-16
SpaceX pauses Florida rocket launches for 6 weeks.
Floridians have long been accustomed to rockets regularly thundering off the ground and soaring overhead.
But 2026 has seen a notable drought in spaceflight from the Sunshine State following a record year with 109 launches.
And now, get ready for the drought to go completely dry for the foreseeable future. That's right, it could be days turning into weeks before another rocket of any kind gets off the ground from either the Kennedy Space Center or Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
After SpaceX last launched its Falcon 9 rocket Oct. 20 on just the 60th mission of the year, it could be awhile until another one climbs into the sky. A SpaceX vice president recently indicated that tech mogul Elon Musk's commercial spaceflight company won't be conducting launches for at least six weeks in Florida amid preparations to introduce its larger Starship.
With no other companies yet setting firm target launch dates to fill the gap, that means it could be a quiet month-and-a-half for spaceflight fans

Build in Baltimore, barge to Wallops - what could go wrong? $RKLB
It’s a beautiful day to set sail with the next pieces of Neutron flight hardware to Launch Complex 3.
Earlier today we sent Neutron’s Stage 2 and Thrust Module out of the Neutron Factory and onto a barge for transport through Chesapeake Bay to Wallops Island in Virginia.
Once it arrives, the Thrust Module will go straight onto the launch mount at LC-3 for check outs and the beginning of wider systems demonstrations including integrated fluids tests and module-to-launch-mount interface checkouts. With no strongback on the launch mount by design, Neutron’s Thrust Module is the rocket’s only physical interface to the launch pad, which this upcoming test campaign enables us to test early before the entire vehicle comes together.
