🏪 Meet David, the entrepreneur behind our newest Circular Grant.
For years, Grandmatt Shop has been serving families in Tena Estate, Nairobi, with everyday groceries, household essentials, personal care products, and especially stationery and school supplies. 🇰🇪
The demand is there. The challenge is working capital.
A $772 Circular Grant will help David restock in larger quantities, reduce purchasing costs, avoid missed sales, and keep essential products available for the community.
The goal goes beyond stronger shelves. Over the next 12 months, Grandmatt also wants to build partnerships with local schools, creating more predictable bulk orders and a stronger revenue base.
As the business grows, Grandmatt plans to contribute 50,000 sats per week back to the Bitbiashara Community
Fund, helping make capital available to the next local entrepreneur. ♻️⚡
More stock. Better margins. Stronger community businesses.

IN OUR COMMUNITY, KUBOEKA NI KUJITAKIA! 😂💃🏽🏃🏽♀️
As they say, “In Kenya, kuboeka ni kujitakia!” 🇰🇪
This quarter, we’ve got everyone covered at Bitbiashara
💪🏽 For the adults: Subsidised aerobics, Zumba, and daily running club sessions to help you stay active, have fun, and connect with others.
🧒🏽 For the kids: @bitbiasharakids has a variety of activities to keep them learning, moving, creating, and growing during the holidays.
We’re making wellness, community, and meaningful activities more accessible to everyone.
So, in our community, being stiff is a choice! 😂
Come move your body, meet new people, learn something new, and have fun while you’re at it.
Because life is too short to sit still when there’s so much happening around you!
📍 Come find your people. Come find your rhythm. Come grow with us.

Yesterday, we went all in with @NduguPeraxxim branding. 🧡
But this partnership goes beyond branding.
Through our partnership, we are creating opportunities for young people to gain practical skills while bringing Bitcoin education closer to businesses and their workforce.
Starting next week, we’ll be hosting Bitcoin classes for the garage workforce and people working in the surrounding businesses.
We want people to understand Bitcoin, learn how to use it, and see how they can receive their value in Bitcoin.
At Bitbiashara, we believe adoption happens when education meets real-world opportunities.
We build partnerships. We share knowledge. We create opportunities. We make Bitcoin practical.

The Bible says to write the vision and make it plain. At Bitbiashara, we believe in making our vision visible, loud, and bold. 🧡
We are unapologetic about our stand: WE ACCEPT BITCOIN. WE USE BITCOIN.
We put that vision on the walls of @NduguPeraxxim . Not just as branding, but as a statement of what we believe in and the future we are building.
Through partnerships, education, and real-world adoption, we are making Bitcoin part of everyday business.
We don't just talk about adoption. We make it visible. We make it practical. We live it.
So tell me, how many signals did you count in total?

🎯 100% FUNDED! Yummy Tummy has reached its Circular Grant goal. 🇰🇪⚡
Thanks to everyone who contributed, Yummy Tummy now has the capital to buy ingredients and packaging in bulk, clear pending orders and turn existing demand into stronger cash flow.
What started six years ago with one small pot of peanut butter is now taking another step forward. 🥜
As the business grows, the impact can keep moving through the community and help create more opportunities for local entrepreneurs. ♻️
One small pot. One growing business. Many more possibilities ahead.

Bitbiashara Coffee Hangout #54: Looking Back at How Far We’ve Come! 🧡₿
At our 54th Coffee Hangout, we took a moment to reflect on where we started and how far we’ve come.
One thing became clear: we are a step ahead, and Bitcoin has played a huge role in that journey.
Thanks to the creativity of developers building tools that solve real-world problems, we are finding more ways to make Bitcoin practical in everyday life.
Tools like Tando, Bitika, and Machankura have helped us explore different ways of using Bitcoin within our community.
But we are not stopping here!
We agreed to keep exploring and testing new tools because we never know which innovation will best meet our community’s needs next.
At this hangout, we sampled "GetChama" (getchama.app), adding another tool to our learning journey.
Our approach remains simple: explore, experiment, learn, and adopt what works for our people.
We are building a circular economy from the ground up, one merchant, one transaction, one conversation, and one innovation at a time.
The journey continues. 🚀
